You cannot use fonts with it, but I'm fairly sure you can use VCE variables. Instead of %1, just use <var:cl:name>.

I've tried the professional version before, and I couldn't really notice any significant differences between it and the Movie Studio version. Maybe the licensing is different?

It's more around $70, sorry. But other versions of it vary in price, so look around.
FYI it works virtually the same just it doesn't have all the professional features.

You could get one of the consumer versions of Sony Vegas, they're only about $50 compared to their professional versions that cost hundreds.
