Off Topic / Skin conditions

I've had eczema since I was born and it's been a burden for a while, at times it gets really bad and flares up causing patchy skin on my arms, torso, and neck. During bad flare ups it causes an itching that gets unbearable and super uncomfortable. Back in elementary the staff would freak out and send me home constantly because they thought it was contagious even after we told them it's just eczema.
Does anyone else deal with skin problems that get in the way?

Not too sure what all to put here but here it is. Maxx doesn't want anyone else posting their work in his thread so here is a place for everyone else to show off what they can make/are working on.

I started mapping again when I realized that no map on the workshop met my needs. As time passed I progressively got to the point I am now, I mainly make sandbox/ACF maps right now.

Off Topic / Metal Detecting. (Formerly UPS rant)

I had a package that was due to come in today, it said before 8pm. So I wait and at 7:30 I hear the UPS truck outside, I run outside just to find the driver quickly trying to speed off. I even shouted to them and they just took off. Didn't even bother leaving a notice, not even sure if they got out of their truck.
UPS is pathetic, they must enjoy hiring stuffty drivers. In my experience we've had a total of 2 packages completely lost. Not even delivered, period

After discussing with UPS I was able to locate my package, it was at my neighbors. I ordered a metal detector and originally planned on making a topic to discuss it.
My property is said to have been used as a civil war medical grounds, I hope to find something good on this property.  I have a neighbor down the road who metal detects so I'm considering discussing it with him for some tips

Off Topic / Being pushed to go on disability.

I felt like sharing this because it's a pretty controversial topic (at least in class it was, not sure here) and I'm wondering what you guys think.

For some back story:
A month after I turned 18 one of my spinal disks ruptured and is deteriorating. It's been over a year and it's still not fixed. Doctors them self said that it can't be fixed, all they can do is relieve the nerve pressure to allow me to walk halfway normal and without excruciating pain. My range of movement and lifting capacity can't be restored, along with that I'll still have back pain and require constant chiropractics to keep my spine from bending back out of shape. I'm unable to stand for more than a few minutes and I require a cane when I leave the house. A single fall can put me in the hospital and cause a lot of damage. I can no longer touch my toes while standing nor am I suppose to lift more than 50 pounds, I can but I'm not suppose to.

With all this in mind I've been urged by my mother and her boyfriend to try for disability since I won't be able to work many jobs. I never was too fond of the idea myself but coming to terms with the fact that this actually has disabled me it may just be an option. I'm unsure of what I want to do but I don't have too many options.
What do you guys think?

Off Topic / Ridiculous reasons for schools to be upset.

This morning I was woken up by a loud knock on my door (I have a door that leads straight outside) so naturally I do what I always do and shout "just a second!" and answered the door after getting out of bed. It was the police and some other officer, I redirected them to the correct door where I promptly met them to open it from the inside. They come in and pull out the papers... You think they only show up for actual problems right? Wrong! They shown up because my cousin had marker on him... The school called authorities over marker ink being on my cousin at school...

Off Topic / It's been 5 months out of school. Nothing to do, what do I do?

After graduating as part of the class of 2015 I've ran into the problem of 'what now?' I can't get a job until I get my ID made, I can't do that until I have $20 cash. I was going to go back to school but my home situation would make schooling extremely difficult. I haven't seen many different faces ever since school did let out back in June I do believe. I didn't establish many connections with friends before school ended, other than that I'm communicationless.

Any ideas on how one can occupy absolute nothing but free time?

I woke up this morning being told my grandmas condition is beyond critical. There's no chance. They've tried a pace maker, trach tube, everything. She's pretty much on life support now with her breathing tube. She's probably going to be gone by the end of the night.

There won't be a funeral but we'll be gathered at the hospital for her cremation.

Help / Friend can't start Blockland?

A friend of mine messaged me saying he gets this error when trying to start Blockland, it worked right before a computer crash.
Error:
"Blockland Launchere - BlobContainer::snapshotbuffer(2) - sqlite error'database disk image is malformed'. Ensure that 'C:/users/blake/Document/blockland/' is writable"

Any suggestions to him?

General Discussion / Halloween 2015 [%99 more Grim!]

WHAT IS THIS?

Halloween 2015 shall be a Halloween based server that intends to run through all of September and October.
Being hosted by none other than Peavy (OP), players get to explore a terrain based build based on Badspot's famous Halloween servers.

WHY SO EARLY?

Rest assured your calendar isn't lying, Halloween is indeed on October 31st.
However, the server may have time to build from the ground up with the help of the community .
With this lenghty timespan, many will come and go and hopefully the product of this labor is a great server surpassing the previous servers.

WHAT IS THERE TO DO?

You can explore around the map looking at spooky builds contributed by the community, when you're done exploring you can drop by the Spooky Carnival. More to come as more people build, I do hope you drop by and have a wonderful time!

To add onto the map you just simply find an area around the edge, plop your baseplate, and build! (other info included in the spawn building)

Off Topic / Re: My grandma is dying (and other things)

Well its been a while and she's still alive. Hardly though, it's very scary. Her blood oxygen level is just high enough to allow her to live, she is extremely pale, can hardly walk, can hardly talk, etc. Her mind is slipping from the multiple strokes as well.

I'm not too sure on how long she has, I'm afraid it may not be too long.
She is in and out of hospitals at least once a week, the longest she's been home since the initial visit was a week. It's been taking a toll on everything, we've been doing our best to help her as well. That includes tearing down walls and trim to strip anything that may have been contaminated by smoking (from my understanding she has COPD now, along with my uncle and possibly my mother). This house is now a no smoking area due to her oxygen machine and the fact she can't be around smoke.

Wheeling my grandpa around to see her has taken a toll on me as well due to my slipped disk, it has gotten to the point that a simple sneeze can cause the disk to completely block my legs nerve signal. Now all I can do is do anything to keep down the pain and just get through it.

My mom and uncle have been getting stressed out from it as well, having to take on many responsibilities. With 11 people in one house it makes things very complicated and out of order.

My grandpa is really upset regarding this situation, especially since his stroke Which paralyzed his right side. Recently was the first time I seen him cry. In his desperation to walk he's been forcing himself out of his wheelchair which has been causing him to get hurt even further. Recently he jumped out of it without any support at all.

School starts again so that will relieve the pressure put on by having little kids here all the time. I hope that helps things, this summer has just been absolute hell on everyone.

Discuss stuff I suppose. I felt the need to rant because this is just becoming ridiculous.

Off Topic / What games to try with oculus rift?

Title says it, I installed my sister Oculus Rift to my computer for the sake of doing it. I already tried Minecraft with it, it was a very interesting experience.
Can't do: GTA 5, requires some $40 software that I'm not going to buy.
