Help / AMD Driver randomly crashes during blockland
« on: June 10, 2014, 06:01:45 PM »
Not much more to say other than that my AMD driver crashes randomly while playing. Usually when there are a lot of bricks seen, I haven't the slightest idea on what is causing this.

Off Topic / Probably moving again..
« on: June 04, 2014, 07:14:29 PM »
Yes again, I actually moved about twice without making a topic. This time I'm moving because my dad is leaving and my uncle won't negotiate with me to keep the internet, I'm the oldest one (not counting the 60 year old adults) on this road and for the next 5 miles so if I lose the internet I'm basically forgeted.
Should be leaving towards the end of the month.

I'll be moving to a town right below Louisville, whoopty doo... Hopefully the meth fumes aren't as strong this time.

Off Topic / This school year is finished
« on: May 30, 2014, 05:26:39 PM »
Not much to tell, other than that the year is finally over with and that the 2 month vacation has started. Finished up my final finals, passed all my classes with A's B's and a few C's. Moving onto senior year.

As school let out people jumped down the hallway with joy, one person was skipping down the hallway. Some people were crying they were so happy to finish school and such.

Have your alls school year let out?

Off Topic / The Electro is our Electro, he lied.
« on: March 09, 2014, 09:14:55 PM »
Elecro had just messaged me telling me that someone hijacked his account, he didn't post the special interest megathread himself. Please disregard his new posts.

I had a feeling something was off with him on the forums anyway.

Edit:
He also claims that his DNS won't let him use the forums

That liar...

Off Topic / Knifes and other bladed weapons/tools
« on: February 16, 2014, 01:31:08 AM »
Today I got a new machete and thought "I wonder what types of bladed things do the folks of the internet have." So I decided to make this topic.

This is my machete that I got, it was a $2 one I got for free off my cousins dad.
I worked on it so its not as much of a piece of stuff. Its still a piece of stuff though, just not as bad. The handle was taped because its loose, the blade was sharpened and straightened out as well.
Its currently sharp enough to go into a tough log and actually get stuck in it.
And yes its thin as forget.

So like, discuss bladed stuff I guess

Suggestions & Requests / RTB Admin Control Panel

As we all know RTB is shut down. Well, I was wondering if someone could get the admitting control panel out of it and make it its own mod

Off Topic / Apparently my town isn't allowed to have snow -_-
« on: February 03, 2014, 02:44:19 PM »
Last night they said we were suppose to get up to 4 inches of snow. We got a little over a dusting here, while other towns are completely covered. This happens each time too. I want some snow ;~;

At least school was canceled, last night people at my house had a super bowl party until 3am which kept me up

Off Topic / Kerosene heating
« on: January 06, 2014, 06:47:21 AM »
This topic is to discuss the heating of a home using one of those metal beast of a heater known as a kerosene heater. We have one and it has been very troubling, yet very warm.
I keep waking up in the middle of the night to loads of smoke filling the air and soot all over stuff because my uncle keeps lighting it inside.
I have almost been suffocated 2-3 times by that heater, which I am ironicly sitting by right now. ( I'm cold :c)
be damned it hasn't blown up on my yet.
So like, discuss kerosene and heating and such.

Gallery / Half Life 2 Citadel build, builders wanted.
« on: December 21, 2013, 02:58:45 PM »
Workers

  • Armquist, ID n/a
  • Zoraki, ID n/a
Info:
After running into a few snags my HL2 citadel build was halted. Well, I have a new PC and I am able to host for my helpers.
Being that I can now do that I am starting back up the citadel build and am looking for workers because my last workers quit on me.

This build is suppose to be a replica of the Citadel from Half Life 2, I have seen quite a few builds replicating things from Half Life 2, however no one ever made a citadel.
I took it into my hands, started building the citadel and with the help of a few others the citadel got to the point it is now at.

Current brickcount: Over 100k!

Well, enough talking, on to pictures!

Bridge into the citadel:

Alternate Entrance:

Looking up into the sky:

Mid panels closed:

Mid panels open:

Side view (to show its not paper thin)

Roof:

Top down:

The missing half of the train:

Conveyor belt area:

Control room 1:

Control room 2:

Bridge into core control room (to turn on the pulse part)

Core control room + vents:

Combine Charging:

More to come as I think of more ideas. Feel free to suggest more.

After running out of things we can really add we began to dig into the beta files:
Manhack Arcade (A little sloppy)

Parts:

Air Exchange:

Trash/Waste incineration room:

Hospital:

Support piston things(Climbable):

Factory:

Ship bay:

Stalkerafication room:

More info
The citadel consist of moving parts as well.
-The panels open as shown above
-The core ball actually 'pulses'

I use custom sounds and loops for ambiance and to make it feel more like the citadel as well, so if I ever host it to the public you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO download sounds or you won't hear it.

BUILDERS NEEDED: Please post if you would like to help. To help you have to:
-Have seen the Citadel in HL2 so you know what its like.
-Actually build based off the City 17 citadel, not the City 8 ones like the Garry's Mod modders made.. One of my builders did that and set me back for a bit.
-Know how to build.
-Work nicely with others.
-Have the ability to actually listen when hes asked to stop.

You may rate current progress.

I've noticed some people asking for some sort of Half Life 2 RP thing, if someone makes the gamemode than I'll gladly donate my build to it. HOWEVER if I am to do that than a portion of City 17 will have to be built around the citadel, which will require even more builders. Builders are in great demand right now, if you wish to help send me a PM, add me to Steam, or add me to RTB.

RTB ID: 2167

Off Topic / Anyone have a working SVN for Spacebuild for Garry's Mod?
« on: November 04, 2013, 02:10:26 PM »
I know that this topics about Garry's Mod but I don't think it belongs in Games so I'm putting it here.

As the title states I've been wanting a working SVN for Spacebuild3 for Garry's Mod, I had one before that worked but I lost it, so do any of you have a link of any sort for it?

Whatever, not going to worry about it. Forgot that you guys aren't mature enough to do one simple thing.

Off Topic / Post your battlestations
« on: October 23, 2013, 04:37:59 PM »
The last 15 are dead so I decided to make my own because I finally have a station desk.

Behold! My station taken by my stuffty school laptop camera. Yes, its on a kitchen table, no the TV on the table isn't on nor do I know it works.

Don't be hatin' on the CRT either!

EDIT:

Under my desk, I just now plugged my mic in. The pink paper is a spacer between my headset and computer. The plug in part of the headset it broke so it has to be there to work.
Yes, I store my blanket under the desk too.
And a lamp..
