http://www.webearthonline.com/basically, this is a game where you play as an animal, and the goal is to survive as long as possible
you start out with only one animal option, a bluebird. you have to play as the bluebird for a while to unlock other animals, and you continue unlocking animals as you get points
you can either play as a baby in a nest, with either NPC parents or real player parents(typically just NPC parents), or you can play as being dropped in the middle of nowhere with no parents. for some animals, parents are better, and for others just being alone is better. however you won't get very many combat points unless you're born in a family.
once you grow up you have to make a nest of your own, and if you haven't already, raise your combat. then when it's the right season, you find a mate and have your own babies. then you raise them, and once they grow up, you get a buttload of points.
this is the main goal of the game: make nest, find mate, have babies, raise babies, repeat, and all while keeping your stats up
although if you want, you can team up with other players(which are hard to find) or just do your own little thing. it's just raising babies gets the most points.
and, if you pay a fee, you can unlock more animals. the basic game, which gives you one set of animals, is free, but the advanced game gives you a second set of animals
keep in mind that if you play in the main world, the rules are stricter, read the rules before interacting with real players or you're gonna have a bad time
however, almost all of the other animals you see will be NPCs
