General Discussion / Your opinion on Vehicles lately

I wanted to research about this further a bit, I made this question in my development topic but I want to do it here to see if the replies will be similar or different.

On the last few years we received a rather big growth in car variety for Blockland and more people got in to develop more as well, for example me, Night Hawk, TheTurtorn who sadly left, Teneksi and others, and I'm just curious what the community thinks of the game getting more variety of what cars to drive that's all, I have no intentions to bring hateful comments here I'm just curious of the general community opinions about the subject.

Earlier this week I went to a Volkswagen dealership asking if they needed anyone else to work for them, they said they were looking for more salesmen, so I left out my qualifications, yesterday they called me for an interview today and right now I'm on my way in the bus so I thought to make an ama out of it, no the little green beetle on my avatar is not on purpose lol

UPDATE: I came back from the interview, it was ok.

Random weather options which could be enabled while the daycycle is on, so we could have rain or a thunderstorm randomly without needing to add it in manually, yeah that's basicly it.

Modification Help / Star Fox Arwing - Would you like to help?

I have a WIP model of a Arwing I made from the game Star Fox.

I've been wondering if there is anyone willing to make this a proper vehicle, I'm not good with air vehicles at all so here are the features I had in mind.

- Laser cannons like the original game
- Smart Bombs
- Particle effects coming from the back
- A nice flying control that is not so sensitive or hard to fly.

My driving server that I hosted a couple of times for a while now is back and now with a 24/7 dedicated server! Here is the quote from the old topic that is sadly too old to edit, also if you have any suggestions for the server feel free to tell here!.

This is a server that I host sometimes and it usually gets plenty of players, it's basicly a server with a big map where you can get any car you want and drive around with your friends, there is plenty of different areas to drive around.

The Spawn area, those empty spots are mostly used freely if you want to add a platform and a vehicle on it, just so that I don't have to give trust for everybody on the server, but you can also build a platform on the ocean.

All of those areas above are on the San Perez City build by Cool Blockhead, and there are also two tracks by Magus

Not sure if this is a blogland type of topic but here we go, I've always met this type of people in my life, you know, the ones that instead of asking you a favor it mocks you for not doing what it wants so you have to guess everything that person wants before it ruins your day with stupid complaints, there was a period of time in my life that I had to live in a person's house that was friends with my mother, she was like this everyday, here are a few examples.

"Did you forgot to put the chair back on the table? You can't do that you have to place it back, can't you think?" - A simple matter of forgetting such a small detail can happen to anyone and she could just do that instead of being a nuisance in the morning like usual.

"Why did you used more soap to clean your clothes? Can't you use your damn brain?" - I literaly used one more finger of soap because my clothes were dirtier than usual, and she made this into such a big useless thing."

"Why don't you clean your dog bed? It's your dog you have to do it and *other useless mockery that I forgot what it was because I left the room sick of her stuff*." - The bed was new and was used for only half a week and the dog was dirty, sure I can gladly do such thing if she could ask for it nicely, but instead have to always make a big fuss over nothing.

I used to go to the market to buy some things for us most of the time by myself, and we always made a list so I don't forget anything, and when I got back sometimes she complained because I didn't think of buying something that she didn't even asked or added it on the list so I had to guess that stuff.

In conclusion she was the type of person that if you have anything out of place or anything that you can forget (or even don't do something that she never asked in the first place) will bother and mock you out, it's such a headache living with a person like this, I know it sounds simpler in this post but in reality it was very stressful.

So I've been curious, is it really that necessary to treat another person like this? Especially when you're living with him/her? You could basicly just ask a favor or give some tips so the same mistake won't happen again, atleast I think that is the right way to do it.

Help / [IMPORTANT] Brazilian users are not connecting to Blockland

A week ago a weird issue happened to my game, I could open it just fine and load up the Server list but everytime I joined a server I used to get disconnected automaticly and a message poped up saying "Server could not verify your Blockland ID".

A few days later after that a new issue occured that happens until this date, in the main menu on the bottom text the game takes almost two or more seconds and it connects you with a message saying "Welcome, *your name here*" right? Well now it never connects to the master server and it just shows up "Authentication: Validating Key" not allowing me to load up the Server List anymore.

I thought at was incredibly strange so I created a help topic and did almost everything that people suggested me to do and yet no results, but lately I find out that other users are suffering from the exact same issue, and the interesting thing is that all of them were brazilians as well.

Another weird issue is that Blockland.us also won't load for us at all.

Well, so that might be the case.

Me, Chef Haywyre and Fab, the three of us are brazilians and we're suffering from the exact same problem, so I realized that it's not a personal problem in my connection, but it turns out to be a issue related to most brazilian players, I'll update on this topic with any new info I can gather, but right now I believe it's some issue related to brazilian proxys not connecting to Blockland, or another issue that might be is that CloudFare have issues with brazilian connections.

Suggestions & Requests / Would Blockland benefit by having a x64 version?

Some games nowadays gives you the option to run it in x32 or x64 mode, x64 allows you to use more than 4GB of memory so it could improve the perfomance of the game and a lot of computers nowadays are in x64, but then again Blockland runs on an old engine so I don't think this would be possible.

Help / Stuck on Authentication: Validating Key

Now continuing my previous problem in the game it turned out to be something even worse, the game won't validate my key, it get stuck on that authentication text and never shows up anything.

Help / "Server could not verify your Blockland ID"

Every time I join a server it makes me instantly leave and a message pops-up saying "Server could not verify your Blockland ID", I am using the Steam version of the game.

Off Topic / I've had a weird dream last night, I would like to share it

So the dream was like this, I was staying on a big hotel with a bunch of people that I can't recognize but they were my friends in the dream, I went for a walk outside the hotel on the beach side of it and I've noticed something, it was daytime, but the clocks marked as 10PM, I asked people around what's up with that and they said the global warming is making the planet crazy, some others asked me to check the other side of the hotel so I went there.

The other side was rather sunset, but strangely the clouds were moving and morphing crazy fast, nobody seemed bothered about it, so I went back and it started falling very tiny metallic crown shaped objects from the sky, some people were barefoot and stepped on them, the metallic object touched their blood veins and their bodies were growing a metallic skin covering the whole person slowly strangely controlling the person to transfer the metallic skin around like a zombie, but the thing is that they can fully speak properly some weird sentences about taking control.

When I went back to see the other side I've noticed it's a strange UFO with some strong lights giving the impression that it was daytime and it flew off afterwards, the clouds was a disguise, then I and some other people were running away and I woke up.

After lot's of nights without remembering my dreams and I remember this one, weird.
