Would this require both a client and a server mod? The sourcecode would probably be a learning experience for me, lol.

Judging by the bots that they could climb each other I'm pretty sure it's server sided

This happened to me when I installed the .zip version, but it would work when i made it a regular file. You can either do that or download the new version, which has a namecheck.txt. That seemed to have fixed it for me.

Nope, redownloaded it and for some reason is still not there.

The revised steering looks like a bitch to control. I prefer the original since you can adjust your angle with mouse steering.

Um, the red one which is bouncing everywhere is the original and the blue one which doesn't is the revised steering, and you can adjust your angle with mouse steering on both.
