The Avant Voiture, the french sedan commissioned by Corpora1Bird is now released! It also includes a wagon, police and Dakar variants, enjoy!

Development Progress: I'm working on the update for the Tutto, some of you might have noticed it's the car that haven't received the update yet that the other cars did (horns and other improvements) Reason being is that I'm adding a new variant for it called Tuned, it uses the same model from the normal car, but it has new wheels, lower suspension and more power.

I also added a few more customization options like a RoofBox and a wooden steering wheel.

The Cabrera is in the process of getting released soon, I added a new Topper option for the cargo.

The Voiture also received new customization options, you can apply a bodykit, painted bumpers, different grills, etc, plus new Wagon and Police variants!

Hello everyone, first of all I would like to apologize for my lack of communication these last two months, I needed to spend some time off to take care of my mental health, it was directly affecting my focus on the development of my add-ons, but I'm happy to announce that I'm back and working on the cars again, you can expect the Cabrera and the Bronx to be released soon, along with an update for the already released cars to fix some issues and add features like a functioning Horn! Again the script was provided by my friend NightHawk so thank him for that.

Gallery / Re: Brik Flix: Blockland Video Reviews
« on: June 16, 2021, 07:00:06 PM »
I just thought of this but if you wanna ever do like, a special long episode, or however you want to do it if at all, I would always be willing to come on the show and review all of the old BEE and Block Wars stuff or really any of the stuff I was apart of back in the day.

I have an unfortunately extensive history of blockland machinima and no one to share it with (other than when Packer and I get bored and start reminiscing).

Or, if it's a conflict of interest to review stuff I was a part of, I have other blockland shorts and things I remember from back in the day I'd love to talk about.
I support that 100%, Swholli deserves a special episode.

I really like these, the gangsters in different colors is also an useful feature if you want to have some sort of TDM but with bots.

Add-Ons / Re: [1.0] (Vehicle) Rivera Genesis
« on: June 07, 2021, 09:01:40 PM »
cool ok too bad whenever i go on the vehicles board it's always a new "[car brand] 2392729047 stuffforget" with 400 tris and 47 nodes and support for 13 gorillion support files and there is only like 3 vaguely defaulty vehicles that don't look like they were made in milkshape in 2009 by a cat walking on a keyboard like ok cool you made a car with 17 million customization commands i want something other than Jeep, Horse, Tank or Bus
i looked in all of the vehicles board on glass and apart from stuff like cannons or turrets and stuff i only found one single normal automobile, the bloko bus
I get your point, you think our vehicles are too complex and you just want something simple that resembles the default vehicles without the more detailed models and features, that I understand, I just think the way you're trying to send your point of view is unnecessary, sounds more like an insult to us than anything. But I'm not against the idea of a "Default Vehicles Pack", I was planning to do something like that for a while so you can expect it in the future.

Add-Ons / Re: [1.0] (Vehicle) Rivera Genesis
« on: June 07, 2021, 03:10:48 PM »
it's just another car that looks like it's from a unity game that you find in a 250k's freebuild or rp server that pesters you with 47 centerprints and chat messages about support mods when you mount it and has barely functional hands-on-wheel script and has just enough nodes in the model to not completely kill any client that ghosts it
That's a complete exaggeration on your part, first of all there are only two support add-ons, the reason they're separate mods is because it would increase the datablocks a lot more if they were packed in every single car, so having it as a support add-on reduces that load, if the same vehicle would require a LOT of extra add-ons to function I would understand your complaint, but two? That shoudn't be an issue.

Second, what "47 centerprints?" We're currently using one material file that contains all colors that the car model uses to exactly reduce the ammount of files used, along with extra stickers or liveries if the same car uses it.

Third, these vehicles are made for the part of the community that enjoys driving in Blockland, I don't judge you for not seeing it, but there are a lot of players who are indeed enthusiastic about having cars they like in the game, regardless if one can look similar to the other, there is a considerable ammount of people in the game that likes it and we receive requests to make more from time to time, I don't see you being negative with the guns side of the community, with people who asks for the same guns that were made before several times, but with different functionality and modelling style, because that's what they enjoy and they're totally free to ask for more because the community has a lot of interest on weapons as well.

Fourth, we stresstested countless vehicles together in several servers that uses the custom vehicle support add-on, cars that also includes plenty of parts, and no issues happened because we know how to use this mod, we know how to make it functional without being a complete mess for clients, causing overloads in the game, that issue might happen with older vehicles that uses this mod before we discovered how to optimize them.

I get that you don't like vehicles, but do you seriously think it's necessary to jump in and complain about every single thing that we make for Blockland cars because it's not barebones like the Default Jeep like how you so desire? The most fascinating thing about Blockland Add-Ons is how they evolved over the years, everything became much more advanced, I'm talking bricks, builds, weapons, items, server mods and of course vehicles, we like to challenge ourselves to see how much we can improve modelling and programming, specially with a game that runs on a very old engine, and recently we took some really impressive breakthroughs with our vehicles, adding features that were unthinkable years ago like customization, a proper lights system and most recently the engine sounds, and the results are there for the community to enjoy.

If we were forced to keep things like the default jeep, extremelly simple and no extra features at all, the vehicle modding side of the Blockland community would have died down years ago because what would be the fun in that? And hey I get it, you don't like what we're doing and I totally respect that, we're totally aware that what we do don't appeal to everyone and that's fine, but there is no reason to keep trashing us when you can just download what you enjoy instead.

I'm surprised that people still commission cars on this game. Which begs the question, will all these add-ons be ported onto Brickadia?
I'm sure that Brickadia will have buildable vehicles instead of 3D modelled ones so no I don't plan on porting these models over, but we have to wait and see, it's too early to tell.
