alot of kids in my school have the new gta now. What the hell? I hate parents who do this, seriously.
when i showed her black ops 2, she was like oh that's ok
but when i showed her saints row, gta, and bully, she said what no those are bad games
Could you make these new cars work with Interactive Vehicle Support? This isn't a request, it's a question of whether it would be possible.I have reasons for not adding the support interactive thing on my vehicles, the main of all is the lack of a lock system, everyone can just show up out of nowhere and click everywhere on your car, and I personally find that really annoying, I can't drive without atleast one door open, and also the fact that, even after clicking a door and let it open, you still have to jump on the car to get in, so why I open the door then? I can make brakelights for sure, I will see if actual working headlights that lights up the place works, and I will see if it's possible to replace the light key to open the roof for convertibles or other things like bus doors, but interactive support? No, maybe I will change my mind once those things will be added to the support script. oh you forgot to mention that new hands on the steering wheel feature on my new cars, I think this is really cool as well
I've always liked your cars, but they have always just been solid, never changing shapes. Then, you added a working steering wheel, and that was cool. But I've always felt like your vehicles needed more interactiveness, such as convertible roofs, working brake lights, etc. Now that your cars will have parts that can be added, you could also include toggles to enable/disable convertibility for the roof, enable/disable brake lights to work, enable/disable steering wheel turning, etc.
I tried, one day, using the ChangeVehicle output event, which allows the user to change the type of vehicle while it is being driven without dismounting the riders, zone bricks, and your Zenoz variants to create the illusion that it had a convertible roof. It worked very well, and looked fantastic.
Port already is making a cel shadow shader, but a complete cel shader is impossible because we don't have access to the scene buffer or whatever you want to call it.I would love to see a cel-shading style like Borderlands or Auto Modellista
Also posted question on the video, but here's the question here:Yup, it's only one car with a bunch of parts to choose from
Was that one vehicle that was that much customizable?
Because i am pretty sure i saw different shapes in the different variants.
Second of all:Well you can choose the ammount of custom parts on your car, for example let's say that you just want two different front and back bumpers, and me and marble hosted our own beta servers and no framerate drops happened, the car is low-poly.
This adds a lot of stuff to the vehicles, but since most of the nodes are hidden, i guess it doesn't have much impact on the framerate or anything when multiple are spawned?
Looks great so far, can't wait. Thanks! We are also very excited about it too!
Good job Marble at supporting the code part and good job Filipe for the modelling part.
Looks really awesome.
You should contact me for sound design. Not to flash around my sound-design-abilities as usual, but I literally have some cool ideas. That actually sounds like a great idea, like a *poof* effect when a new part is added could be nice.
Maybe make an emitter like this one aswell as a cool sound effect mixed with that sort of drill (or whatever its called) sound after on the specific part when added.
The GUI seems kind of plain and not pretty, like it could be for such a cool thing. The GUI on the video is just a Beta test
I like the idea of making it more like the player customization GUI.
