I also recently learned that the dad comes to the dances, not to chaperone, but just to watch his two daughters (The third youngest is not in high school yet)

**Sorry, bit of a read but it might be worth it if you find date fails funny.

(Prolog - Skip ahead to Date night if you don't want to read)

So it all started with asking the girl out.  The night before I go and look up a list of movies that we could see.  This was around the time a new Twilight movie was out.  Swallowing my pride I put it on my mental list.

The next day I go and ask the girl.  She says yes, but wants to know what movie.  I tell her she can choose, and recall the list.  The first movie I say is Puss in Boots.  She jumps up and says "Yes!"

<Fast Forward - Date night>

I'm waiting at the theater for a god 15 mins.  The movie starts at 6:30 and it's 6:27.  Now earlier that day someone gave me a tip that the dad might be coming.  I was alright with it, good to meet him now then later in court.  1 minute later She shows up.

The mom, the dad, the older and younger sister, a friend, and the friend's mom all show up.  I was expecting just her and the dad, but the whole gang was there.  I was shocked but kept smiling.

We get into the theater 5 mins later and the movie commercials have started. The theater is 7/8 full, and the only place we all could sit together was in the front.  No one wanted to sit there, and so we looked up into the crowd to find some seats.  We saw a few pockets of two seats open up here and there.

Now the Friend and my date were talking together walking up the stairs, and the dad points them up to a group of two seats with me behind them.  Great, now I don't get to sit with her.  The "Turn off your phone" warning was playing and the dad began to felt bad for me.  So he came up and sat next to me.  No talking, no looking at each other, and only a few laughs from him.

The movie ended and we went our go our separate ways, before she goes she gives me a quick hug and runs off to her family.

To summarize:  I asked her out, and we went to see Puss in Boots.  I thought her (And maybe the dad) were the only ones to come, but the whole family plus a Friend and the friend's mom.  She is told to sit with her friend and I put behind them.  Soon the dad feels bad and sits to me.  Movie ends.

Thus ends my date with the dad. #fml

I am thinking about starting a clan with the name Classical Greece.

People would have (somewhat) classical Greek names. (Edit: Might not come into effect)

Please give advice/CONSTRUCTIVE criticism
