The more I think about that server though, the more fun it sounds but I would change some things.
Instead of a ban, you just cant respawn for awhile.

« on: October 02, 2011, 08:25:06 PM »Spawn would probably be protected from block damage and player damage, and I doubt anyone would build something enormous and time-consuming without understanding and taking into consideration the dangers. At most there would be some cool castles, plus that is what teamwork is for. People patrol the area builders are in. Just from that I can imagine it being very fun if you and your friends had mics.Yep.
Minecraft should add a mic system.

People could spawn kill
People who spend hours building things on the server who are suddenly killed, lose everything.
But I guess if thats your cup of tea...

You can still die safely from mobs, lava, fall damage and all that though. People would actually forge alliances and work together to survive since knowing randomly attacking someone is a very dangerous idea. Plus it'd keep out trolls because players would team up and kill them.Thats stupid.

1) You spawn in a huge town with next to no resources

I think we have enough destructive racing games out there. And that's probably why the price goes so low. Companies overuse the genre to the point where nobody wants to see it anymore. It's like songs on the radio: If you play it too much people will start to shun it.Lies.
