I started writing some spooky story based off of slenderman when I was 13 I believe. The latest it was written would be near March 2014, so I could've been 14.
You don't know fear. You don't know what fear is until you're standing there, helpless. On the edge of life and death. You wouldn't know fear more than I do if fear slapped you in the face. Nobody believed in this person. A disfigured human, if you can call it that. It was all believed to be a hoax started in middle school by a kid who tried too hard to fit in. Who knew that the geeky Thomas Hanlin actually spoke the truth?
Living in the forests of Southern New Jersey, we weren't afraid of the animals that roamed around passively. Everyone knew of the Jersey Devil, and the same people knew that it wasn't real. But when the little 7th grader Thomas told us about this stalker in the woods, it freaked some of us out. That guy gave me nightmares for a week. He always spoke of it, until one day... He went missing. No sign or trace of him, until a year later, when his mutilated body was found under a tree. Not one person could figure out why he went missing and how his body was preserved for a whole year. As the school found out about it, rumors circulated that the Man in White took him. And, to this day, it seemed like the only reasonable explanation.
Now fast forward to 3 years later. Me, Sarah and Jimmy are soon to be in our Junior year in high school. It was a burning August afternoon. Signs were already showing that summer was ending, and we decided to jump in the pool one last time. We expected to have a great time. Time flew by, and soon enough, the sky was pitch-black. An eerie fog emitted, which added to the creepy feeling that we had. The fun had ended for us, and it was time to leave. We all heard what would be our demise
It wasn't too good. Last edited it in November, when I added a sentence or something. I'm currently planning on writing a short story, but don't know exactly what to base it on. I was thinking more of a World War II story
