Games / Re: Empires Mod
« on: October 12, 2009, 10:56:56 PM »
Yes it does. I hate when I kill someone and they say "Nice Bodyshot".
In real war, you'd be dead if you tried only for headshots.
I play like it's real war. No bunny hopping, no W+M1. Forgive me if the other players only think about getting kills.
..That's exactly what you're thinking about, getting kills.. what, also TF2 isn't a simulator you should play ARMA II if you like simulation it's the best all around military simulator you can get.  It pisses me off in TF2 when you get one hit killed as a 125 hp class to a shot in the finger even. There isn't even bullet time the shot hits instantly and exactly where you're aiming.  As for empires it was ok depending on the map, some people had to work in teams more than others which got annoying.

Apparently most of you are completely clueless of the many visits to other countries he's been on recently to improve relations with countries that had not liked us so much thanks to a few past presidents.  Of course this isn't much however its an improvement and a step in the right direction.  I think it's a bit early for him to get it though since he hasn't been president long and done much.  Also if you think that he can avoid the war on terrorism over in Afghanistan and just pull people out you have to be loving kidding.. They've been needing more support and pulling out troops would be terrible with the recent attacks.

I'm sick of this game and its bugs and glitches, the only reason I occasionally play it is because I still yet to find a new FPS with the same standards.
I have to agree with you on this, the ridiculous melee crit rate still hasn't been fixed for one.  The pyros range is ridiculously far from the emitter still, you still end up getting killed through walls from heavies and snipers on servers where everyones got 20-40 ping and the server itself, that isn't loving lag.  And also the amount of failstabs you get in a row can be ridiculous, while they end up being made up by facestabs instead now.  It's still fun but they really need to get to work on finding a solution for these it ruins the balance of the game quite a bit at times.

So it's laggy?
What is that.
Total Annihilation was what Supreme Commander was based off of originally, it's very old but I have a few disks for it and an expansion around my house when I used to play it all the time, great game.

Also It won't be free again, they're at work on a story mode and a lot more content. Demo has a 5 minute skirmish mode but its pretty much the same.

Dude, loads of people don't know him. You don't have to be a hard assed prick because these people werent raised on 'God', or had no religious education in their school.
Gandhi wasn't a religious figure, he supported religious freedom/tolerance and stopped violence between different groups.  You really made yourself look like a richard.

I think it could use a small little windshield and possibly some landing gear but it's nice and fitting.

I thought the spacers they put in beforehand where 10x worse, the braces have never bugged me, and only once after a good number of tightenings. Main issue is making sure you brush well and get rid of plaque under the wire.

Just played it on PC. Felt and looked very unfinished, even though it was just two levels.
They definitely didn't spend much time on this, the level design is rather poor in that unlike others where they would lead you well with lighting this doesn't.  The huge openness made it very easy too, boomers were pathetic.

It was pretty cool but the jet is ridiculously hard to control and I can't even tell where the hell the bomb is going with it, I wish there were some land areas to drive on too.
