funnily enough if you get pulled by the police in your car (say for example a brake light isn't working) and they additionally spot a knife in your car, you need a good reason to have it, otherwise they take you to court for carrying a knife in a public place  :panda:

also a restricted amount of guns are allowed to be owned and used in the uk, there is already a system in place for background checks and gun registration. however, there are no open carry laws/self defense stuff (killing other humans :O), and if your gun is used to commit a crime you are held responsible. there's a load of other stuff too, like needing to keep all your stuff in a safe, and telling the authority about amount of ammunition you have iirc.

the uk just doesn't have the gun culture which america has.

yeah i got the gt driving force which is the poor mans g27/g29. i think it's almost 10 years old now, still provides fantastic force feedback but i feel the motor is gradually on the way out.

most real life cars are 1000+ plus with their degrees of rotation, obviously these wheels only have up to 900 degrees. however to be honest it deffo feels real enough.

also, most "race cars" for lack of a better word tend to have much less than 900 degrees, as this amount is not very responsive, and if you want to go fast with 900 degrees you're gonna be smacking it about like the wheel of a pirate ship in the middle of high winds. with these wheels, the degrees of rotation is completely customizable up to 900 degrees, which you can set up on a per game basis. my preference is 540 degrees for racing, but hey that's me.

Its kind of weird how of all the animals that live upon this earth (as well as possibly anywhere else in the universe) we ended up being humans on earth. Like just think about that. We could have been an ant, a dog, or some alien life in some distant galaxy. Thats a shower thought that ive been pondering since i was like 7.

That alone leads me to believe there could be reincarnation but as a Wise Man once said our feelings and thoughts are just chemical reactions so idk if thats transferable across organisms
i used to think about this so much when i was really young, trying to figure out why i existed in this world. ty for reminding me about it :panda:

the story of him dying in a freak hot air baloon accident was always absurd anyway lmao

carl sargeant was known to be mentally unstable/slightly stupid by pretty much everyone in his constituency and he was bullied in the welsh assembly. he was literally fired from the cabinet without being told anything why, and the next day he name was tarnished in all the newspapers/tv about his "loveual assaults", whilst carwyn jones (welsh labour leader iirc) was being interviewed telling the world how much of a hero he was for firing sergeant, whilst he still hadn't actually told carl sargeant what the allegations where about.

i know where you're coming from, but imo even if carl sargeant did do what was alleged, he still shouldn't have been treated this way. many other uk politicians have been accused of loveual assault/harassment and tend to stand down themselves, rather than being forcefully ejected.

either way, after the allegations have came out (true or not), it's very unlikely they will be voted for again.

53
the point has been totally missed in this thread. the problem was how the allegations where handled. the leader of the welsh labour party or whatever basically decided to completely kick out carl sargeant and ruin him without telling him any details about any of the alleged offences.

54
corbyn's labour is even more left than the majority of the democrats boyo.

anyway, he killed himself because he was sacked from his job over these allegations, but he wasn't actually told what the allegations where.

he was the assembly mp for my local area, and tbh he was kinda crap, but you gotta feel for his family.

whether he was guilty or not, he pulled the ultimate political move

the VAC modules where always present in the linux version of cs go. it was just at the time valve didn't give a stuff about aimtux (the cheat you're talking about) and therefore it took over 6 months for them to add its signature. around late may they added the signature and boom what do ya know a week later everyone who used it got banned. for a while aimtux was quite an obscure cheat, but some youtubers boosted it's popularity by saying it was the best free cheat going, which got valve's attention.

it's still pretty easy to make an undetected cheat on linux. infact, the death of aimtux provides a great copy and paste source to making your own private one. many private undetected forks of aimtux exist.

the rise and fall of aimtux is just one saga of the rampant cheating going on in cs go. i personally think it took valve way too long to get their stuff together as the cheat had a repository on github, and was quite well known in the minority linux cs go community.
