Oh yeah, because civilian weapons will really defend against our immense military. Some good logic there.
During the revolutionary war, the American patriots defeated the British, probably the strongest army in the world at the time, using ordinary hunting rifles that every man had access to. And guess what, they won!

And...? The point is that it is semi automatic. It will pump out lead as faster as your finger can press the trigger. A shotgun requires pumping, and a hunting rifle (bolt) requires you to rooster it, thus taking it more time to shoot.

Semi automatic weapons = faster killing
Manual/non semi automatic weapons = slower killing
If you haven't noticed, criminals don't quite follow the rules (including gun laws), so all those BAD people who have those semi-automatic firearms will have an extreme advantage over those law abiding GOOD people. I'm sorry, but what you're saying is bullstuff.

The freedom to have weappons is also so that, if our government were to become a tyrannical, corrupted body, we would be armed and ready for the next revolution. too bad the government already is corrupt

Also, why not use a shotgun or pistol? Is an assault rifle REALLY necessary? No. A semi automatic killing machine is never necessary except in war.
Let's say we make guns illegal. The law-abiding citizens will throw away their guns.

However, the murderers and gangsters, who are NOT law-abiding citizens, will simply keep their guns and have an upper hand over the normal citizens. A semi-automatic rifle is not an "assault rifle" either. Know the difference. The media screws it up all the time.

Is this seriously an advertisement for a company that has a gross income of over $50,000/year?

This is truly pathetic, an 8 eight year old with an iPhone 2 camera and Windows Movie Maker could create a better persuasive presentation than this.

I'm not even trying to be biased on the basis that I play Blockland, but really, this is a horrible advertisement, you can't hear him over the sound of the cars in the second scene, wtf?
Just consider the fact that Blockland can't make it's own advertisement to save it's own ass on Steam Greenlight

damn, its seems like nintendo is slowly becoming sony everyday with all the hd remakes
Yeah, but they could easily take advantage of the new hardware features of the Wii U. So it's not just an HD remake; even Super Mario 64 DS had a lot of new features.

The default style weapons are great. I like how most of the more advanced features are toggleable.

theres about 9 murders a year.
in the US, everyone has a gun almost.
theres about 9 murders a day. more.

United States = 3,794,000 sq miles (9,827,000 km²)
Pop: 311,591,917

U.K = 94,060 sq miles
Pop: 62,641,000

Banning firearms doesn't necessarily make a safer world for average citizens. It does, however, provide for a safer world for dictators and aristocrats. No dictatorship has survived where the people have access to firearms.

In fact, the people owning firearms is supposed to scare the government into not turning into a tyranny. That's pretty much the biggest reason the 2nd amendment was passed.
