Potassium cyanide.
Pour a bit into a glass of water, drink it and I can guarantee sleep within 15 minutes depending on the dosage and on whether or not you set it up right.

if you don't know what that is, don't do it

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Randome Zar Tank
« on: February 20, 2012, 01:17:54 AM »
Only the Russians are crazy enough to fit bicycle wheels on a tank.

how would that work?
Guessing how it would work based on the details you provided, it would have 1 driver and 3 gunners.
One gunner for the R2D2-like turret.
Two gunners to operate the cannons on the left and right.

It'd handle like a cinderblock.

For people who make games & stuff, we should have a competition where you have a weekend / one week to make a game, and whoever makes the best game gets some kind of prize. This Mojam thing was really cool.
Sounds fun.
I might join this competition whenever I get off my lazy ass and learn a good Sepples library.
Lib/API recommendations appreciated.

for you computer science geeks(if any), i'll leave this interesting read here

Was Blockland copyrighted when these were made or in use?
If not, then I think it's okay provided they differ in some way from Lego's iconic minifigure.

Should ask Badspot though, he was the one negotiating and creating the models themselves.

He hasn't done anything YET.
And why get so loving mad at him for not being sure whether you can script or not? Why not just tell him, so he can understand.
Asking him of his capabilities is something the team leader(s) should have done when they employed hired let him work on the project.
You may as well as hire a master mason to your team to help construct a cathedral and make him the richardcoffee jockey.

I never said we made those. Most of that stuff comes with Torque 3D. Ask Chao for further information.
According to you, your team has created and/or accumulated the following:
-snip-
In that case, you can expect the negativity and disbelief to persist.

Be sure to release media when possible though, yeah?  :cookie:
And please change the forum. I suggest you keep whoever designed it away from art/the color pallet for a while.
No offense to whoever designed it.

Also, do you think it was a good idea to have purchased a server when you've [evidently] not created hardly any usable content yet?
After all, generally the only people using it would be you and your colleagues.
Not sure how Torque (or for that matter, networking) works, but you could probably have whoever has the most powerful computer host a local LAN server for everybody to test on as the need arises .. ?

Wish granted but it turns out your sent to a giant crib where a giant baby is doing it to you.
why would the baby masturbate when there's a perfectly good piece of forgetmeat in front of him?

Granted, but your cheese is a tentacle monster and rapes you.

I wish for a better computer.
Granted, but the coolant is forgeted and you have to manually hand-crank the fluid throughout the machine.

I wish for a car.
German.
With gas. And every single part where it should be.

How the hell can you give pictures, for what I listed there?
And Byteswarm, you sir, are an incompatible bastard. You constantly have to find flaws in the development for this game. Why can't you just loving accept this game being made, and stop giving so much negativity.
No need to give out such a negative response  :cookieMonster:

According to you, your team has created and/or accumulated the following:
5K Models
3K Terrain
420 Maps
600 Scripts

There are a few ways you can give us visual proof that you've actually created all these things.

For one, you can open a model up in a modeling program, take a screenshot and post it here. It would do away with /most/ of the negativity.
You could do the same for maps, using a mapping tool or whatever you used to make the maps.

Some of those scripts must produce some sort of visual effect.

Wow he says he loves GOD. But yet, he says "f*** you".
Nobody's perfect.
Hell, even I swear sometimes.

Doesn't seem that big of a deal to me, depending on how they're used.

It is strange how only in this community, blockland, is when if someone who is not known throughout blockland for god scripting, says they will make a game, then everyone doubts them because they never made anything before-hand, for blockland, which is loving stupid.
wat

Such is not the case, however I'm far too lazy to explain the details.
But it comes with a history of seeing people who think they (but not necessarily are) capable of creating large games, or any game at all.
Not knowing a user's background or experience in any particular field also adds to the low expectations.

Such negativity isn't local only to blockland. It's persistant in many non-dedicated and/or non-technical communities.

Also,
no pictures...
