no. an xbox 360 elite is much more capable at handling higher end games than say an xbox from when it was released. it's like comparing a macbook from 2005 to a macbook from today, same model but with better hardware.

Either you are handicapped, or trolling. All xbox 360's are based off the same exact hardware except for the hard drives, which really don't have an effect on performance. The only difference is that the new xbox 360 slims have their cpu/gpu made on a smaller chip so that it uses 1/2 the power of the original xbox 360.

Could you host using my BL key so it doesnt say Starcraftman at the start? If so, PM me and I'll send u my key. And the server would be called [MBE Pwn'd z0rd's Modern Block Events Server MBE]

I don't have any way for you to apply your key to the server without me knowing it. I would prefer to not have to be responsible for that. Also, you are on the waiting list because other people responded first.

In response to kalphiter, I had to because more than 1/2 of the money I was making from bitcoin mining with the hardware I had was going into paying tor electricity. That was the point where I decided to sell off 1/2 of my hardware.

Could you host a server for my clan, Modern Block Events??? Just make me SA and let me load up the HQ and I'll be ok with it.

If I don't get a reply from Conan by tomorrow, then yes.

I'm hosting 4 blockland servers and minecraft server for my university on this one computer. Its pretty much maxed out at this point.

Would you be willing to host a game other than blockland?

Because while 5830's have the best cost/performance, they most certainly were not the most energy efficient for their mining speed. They were essentially half broken 5870's with disabled cores, and used more power than 5850's while only being 75% as fast.

Tell me the next time you're worried about wasting electricity, and then you'll understand how cheap it is.

I really had to take electricity costs into account when I was living at home and bitcoin mining. I live in a dorm right now, which is why I stated that $18,000. I don't pay extra for electricity, so I might as well do things to get my monies worth.

It's a VPS in a datacenter. He isn't paying for electricity.

Urgh, the longer this argument goes on the less confident I become in this service.

I'm a random person offering free hosting if you send me your files. What could possibly be sketchy about that?

It is 24/7 on an acceptable connection on a VPS provided by Fluffy/Fluff-Is-Back including RDP access.

Electricity is not free. Most people turn their computers off at night. Also, I'm doing this for free, or at least not at any cost to the people I'm hosting for (its $18,000/year for me).

Why on earth is there a bedroom freebuild-ish (it seems) server up called "Starcraftman's + Big Brother's Server"?

Because when you host a game, the master server forces the name of the owner of the key to the front of the server name. There is no way to prevent this besides you guys giving me your keys, which I'm sure most people would not want to do unless they REALLY trusted me.

I know. You're still on the list because it seems on average there are under 10 people across the servers, so just send me your configured installation with everything configured and I can host for you.

Well, unless you have the save files already packaged with what you send me then you will have to go onto the server and load the saves from your computer when the server starts.
