Isn't that what OP is trying to suggest?

He's trying to suggest a type of hexagon bricks that defy the way Blockland brick physics work. How about somebody actually makes hexagon bricks first? Then somebody can bypass overlapping for them. I actually need plain normal hexagon bricks for something too.

There should be a police officer who has a pistol that drops upon death, but has no melee weapon. That'd be a good drawback for the ranged weapon.

And picking it up makes you drop your melee weapon?

Use a static shape instead of a vehicle.

Why not just overwrite the functions outside a package? That way you don't risk breaking other mods that package it.

Overwriting them outside of a package would be even worse because you couldn't turn it off if needed.

If your add-on depends on that function then you should use another function. By default, all it's used for is the observers message.

I'm hosting a server with this on a random map right now. Just ask me if you want to change anything (the build, the weapons, the host key, etc.) Currently the server is named "Port's Whirlwind's In Time DM".
