You probably should check the settings anyways. Nvidia's control panel saves the colour settings on a per-monitor basis, and if you plug in a new one it it'll use the default settings. So if you set one to be green and you plug another one in the new one won't be green.

Someone probably messed with the graphic card/window's colour settings, seeing as how it isn't affecting the monitor's control panel.

Check the ATI/Nvidia/Intel control panel if the computer has it installed.

It's still not completely done, I've still got to finish the rotors and flesh out the roosterpit plus the MASH stretchers and plates they had on the side.

I'm planning on using it as a test for making a gmod model with body grouping, that is if I last past the UV mapping.

any mods that you would recommend for these games that would bring it up to modern standards without gimping anything?

And I still maintain my position that you should play vanilla before adding sprinkles (mods).

But if you're really dieing for some good graphics mods without touching gameplay I'd suggest Stalker Weather Overhaul, Argus's Photorealistic Zone Texture Pack, and Stalker Shaders MAX. And there's also the Zone Reclamation Project for bug fixes.

My sister downloaded a bunch of horsestuff on it, giving it a bunch of spyware and viruses (like frostwire and limewire, which are complete shams). Because of that, I probably need to buy a new mobo, processor, and memory (and possibly a new HDD).

Spyware/viruses/etc aren't transferred to your mobo, processor, or memory. All you've got to do is re-format your hard drive and re-install Windows if you want to do a complete purge.

Otherwise you could also boot into safe mode and run some virus scanners and other stuff to try and get rid of the spyware.
