The fall of the Berlin wall isn't exactly US history though.

Vietnam War
Gulf War
Operation Just Cause

About the only things that come to my mind in the 70 to 90's era, Other then some political movement things.

It is. There are multiple tutorials on how to hex models.
It depends on the gun, But sometimes/most of the time you'll have to do more then just hex them. Such as adding and renaming some animations and bones.

It's do-able, But it'll also be quite a pain in the arse.

I have to keep deleting chunks off of this world so that the pictures are smaller without having to crop it.
Everytime I delete the chunks I get worried that I'm going to forget stuff up.
Don't some isomap generators have an option to crop to selected chunks?

Would look exactly like what you're doing without needing you to delete chunks.

What's that? o.o I think the saving problem is standard as part of the game. I don't see the save button, and progress clears after going to the main menu, even though it's one loving menu away from the level list.

I'd suggest either Darkplaces or ezQuake.

Where is the Save Game? Why does going to the main menu clear all your progress? Why does all but the HUD suddenly black out during the first mission while in Windowed Mode, which I need to switch to 16 Bit color to do? Why doesn't DxWnd work with this correctly?
If you're having those latter problems I'd suggest getting a source port.

They were going to name Quake 2 something else but were having trouble trade marketing it. So they ended up re-using Quake since they already had it trade marked.

Other then Quake 3 having teams/races from both of the first two games there are no storyline connections between the Quake games.

Of course, Quake 4 has you fighting the Strogg again like in 2 but I think it's pretty much a re-boot. So the plot-line of 2 doesn't exist the in 4th's world.

I think it's legal since you bought it.
Pretty sure it's not.

But then again it's a pretty grey area.

Now I'm tempted to try playing Quake with Rock Raider's music.

I'm just too lazy to search for the disk though.

Eject your Rock Raider's disk or disable CD music in Quake's options.

Off Topic / Re: I'm having very odd problems with uTorrent.
« on: September 27, 2011, 02:30:23 PM »
There isn't much use for Torrents due to people uploading zipped files (Which is much easier).

Lotso % of Torrents on the internet are stolen program codes, or keygens + programs.

I haven't even touched uTorrent in years seeing as I've never really had any use for it.
Personally I prefer using torrents if what I'm downloading is huge in file-size, So if my internet goes out I won't have to start all over again.
