Awesome stuff dude!  The photos are actually very nice.  The lighting isn't the best, but I can make out everything.  The paintjobs are very cool, too.  I assume you had fun doing it, which is really what it's all about.

That's one of my 2 scratch built figures, which is what helped launch my commissions at a professional level.

what are the basic tools you use when creating one of these?

A lot, seriously.  One of my primaries is a thinner spoon kind of tool, a long with two rubber edged tools, but I tend to switch all of the time.
