I have to sit through stuff like that, and yes, it does cause me pain. Today's music is terrible, especially our pop genre. I feel like i'm losing brain cells every time I hear a katy perry song in the mall or in the car or on TV.
Music is something that is very diverse. Many people like many different things. Just because you dont like something, doesnt mean someone else doesnt.
You make it seem like todays music is causing you pain, when you could completely ignore it and listen to your own stuff music.

Modern music is garbage and the people who make it, like Lady GaGa and Nicki Minajj are just idiotic love dolls in ridiculous suits who live materialistic lives of reliance on their fame to survive. They have no real talent. Autotune and computers deserve more of the credit than the actual musicians themselves these days. Hollywood and the music and celebrity music industries are things full of sadness and worldly emptiness.
