Why even do it? It's just a waste of money. Like seriously, is there some sort of force making you get rid of your account? You could easily leave/make a new one without getting banned. It's just making you look/act like an attention whore, I'm looking at you Youtuber42

Off Topic / my dog really isn't doing good still
« on: May 09, 2015, 07:53:13 PM »
READ THIS FIRST
or read it down here:
around a week ago I made a topic about my dog getting way skinnier than he used to be. he dropped from 48 lbs. to around 26 lbs., which is the normal weight for a beagle, but its unhealthy for a dog to lose over 20 pounds in a week.

recently the vet diagnosed him with diabetes and dehydration, because he was fat, and he wasn't drinking any water for some reason. Now we have to give him shots every 12 hours and check his glucose all the time due to the diabetes. the rules for the medication and shots are really specific, he can only take the pills after eating nothing for 2 hours, and he can't take the shots on an empty stomach or he might die. the vet recommended him to eat rice and scrambled eggs, and all he did was throw them up after around an hour. he's been throwing up constantly, around every 2 hours. all he does is sleep, occasionally eat, throw up, and he does run around the yard a little bit, but he usually just lays down on the deck.

So yes, my beagle is still alive somehow, and is slowly getting worse in health. You may wonder why haven't we put him down yet, and that's because he doesn't actually appear to be in any pain whatsoever, and is surprisingly very happy with the qualities of life he still has. It's also really hard to put down a dog that we've had for nearly 10 years. Anyways, assuming you've read what's happened to him in the quote above, his conditions have gotten worse. We've kept him very healthy and given him his diabetes medications and shots every 12 hours, cleaned up after him, made sure he's not trying to kill himself in any way, shape, or form, etc. He's a really needy chore, but he's family so he's worth it.

Since I've made the previous topic, my dog has been a lot more active and energetic, instead of just puking and sleeping, but he's also become blind, and diagnosed with lyme disease. Because of this, he cannot see at all. He constantly slams into things like fences, chair legs, other pets, and more. Well, recently, he apparently ran into something and punctured both of his eyes. Not too much blood or damage, but he's had some bloody stuff in his eyes, the goo is normal, but the blood obviously isn't. This means there has been blood occasionally on the floors and piss pads (both dogs apparently have small bladders and cannot hold their urine for 6 hours meaning we have to lay down absorbent pads in the kitchen.)

Yesterday when I came home, I let both dogs outside to go to the bathroom and such, and when I let them in, my mom noticed the back of his leg bleeding. What we think is that he got his leg stuck in part of a fence, and it cut right near his dewclaw. Even after an hour, blood constantly kept coming out so we bandaged his leg and now it's healing. Also, part of his paw was cut, but no blood was coming out.

Now, several red, rash-like spots have appeared on his stomach/chest area. As far as I can tell, it's no rash. It looks more like the skin was lightly scraped. 2 years ago, this same dog was hit by a car, and Rotondo suggested that he may have internal injuries. Today, my mom thought that internal injuries/bleeding could be linked with these weird spots. I'm not sure. We're seriously considering putting him down, but we really don't want to, even though he's a handful of work. We're taking him to the vet tomorrow or on Monday and we will see what they say.

If any of you could suggest what caused/why any of these to occur, please do.

I realize that it's the "Off Topic" board, but these are really unnecessary.

He's not that annoying, but I'm just putting this here in-case it gets worse/better. Mongler, stop making so many topics for now, and this is coming from someone with almost 700 topics made.
