You guys are just going to keep banning people who didn't mean any harm to your server. In the process you've probably killed off a good 20 extra players, some of which would probably end up becoming regulars. Good job guys.

the rule is pretty well written and pretty damn clear

it just so happens that you're a dumbstuff. as i said ages ago, this doubles as a great way to weed out the dumbstuffs.

Alright this sounds like a completely logical reason.

Now here's the thing, I wasn't roleplaying while I was loading. All I was doing was amusing myself while the files downloaded. There was no issue with my name breaking the immersion of other players because I wasn't in game yet and I wasn't going to roleplay when I joined.

All I joined to do was view the build and leave. There's no reason why the name was an issue to other players.

you broke the rules out of your own ignorance and stupidity, you really haven't got a case

i don't get how you could think it's a good idea to still be arguing about this

While other servers produce things like builds, addons, and artwork, an RP server produces nothing tangible. The only thing that matters in an RP server in terms of production is continuity.

since when did any server need to produce something tangible? i'll give you a hint, never. there's no rule, or social standard that servers should be "productive". players join the bluzone for serious rp, and they enjoy it. that's it, and that's all there needs to be. you're not in any position to judge how worthy a server is to exist, none of us are.

i honestly don't get how you can expect us to take your word seriously when you thought naming yourself "snake stroker" and "i need a handjob" wouldn't be an abuse of the setname function. you have to be a complete dumbstuff to not get that.

You're right that the server will be able to keep a decent population for a little while longer, but it won't last.

you should go in to astrological predictions too

no server lasts.

There's no reason why Lugnut should enforce a permanent ban on something people do

as already said, harse punishments prevent more people from doing the same thing. it makes an example of people. you can't actually argue against that because it's working. this topic serves as a great advertisement for the bluzone. they're harse on non roleplayers so people can expect quality serious rp.

and after now finding out what names you were banned for, no stuff. you deserved the perma. take it like a champ because you're stuffty arguments aren't helping you.

you were banned because your name wasn't serious. the server isn't going to fail because you were banned. the admin team is strict, and the regular players know that (hint: that's why they're still regular players). they're not going to suddenly turn non serious and get themselves banned. you weren't there to roleplay and shouldn't be such a whiney bitch for that very reason.
