I did all sorts of stuff like that with my dad when i was younger too, that's part of being an able bodied son in most families. None of that means you've got it tough. If a game can't get enough RAM to run, it either won't run, or will run from a pagefile, which may impact preformance.
If the game can get enough RAM, then there's nothing else you can do for it. Try updating your Graphics Processing Unit.
