Where can I find some good tutorials for making blockland add-ons? spesifically how to make a gui that shows some vce variables.

Or even so a small script so that the user could input /stats and then be returned with some variables with prefixes, such as...

Gold: <var>
Health: <var>
Xp: <var>

Help / Dedicated server limited connections on windows
« on: August 16, 2012, 08:58:55 PM »
I heard you have 10 connection limit on xp and I think about the same for 7. Currently I can't afford a license for a windows server, so does that mean a blockland server will be limited to 10 connections or is this just for file sharing, remote desktop?

Off Topic / Renting out VPS server
« on: August 14, 2012, 06:16:45 PM »
I'm going to be renting out a server running ubuntu 12.04, to use this you mustbe able to pay online. There will be no contract however I will send you a bill of which you must pay within 7 days otherwise your login will be removed. If you would like to use this service then you can email me at info@webcodepro.co.uk.

To use this server it is required that you have some basic understanding of SSH and the linux terminal (However I usually just look-up the commands on the ubuntu website)

VPS means that its shared hardware as I will be using the server for remote ssh, apache, mysql, php and maybe a couple of games but probably not.

So far I have the ssh, apache, mysql and php installed and its using about 1-5% of resources.

There is a 500gb disk, I don't care how much is used as long as you don't take the piss and use the whole lot.

Pricing

Depending on what you want to use the server for really does depend on the pricing, it could be from 5 - 50 a month but 50 really would be if you were using most of the RAM, had loads of processes running and were using enough hard drives to put western digital out of stock.

Does anyone know how I could run a Blockland dedicated server on a linux server (ubuntu 12.04 server) without having to use gui?

This would be great as I already use this for webhosting, email and a few other games.

Help / Where can I get a cheap windows server to rent?
« on: July 27, 2012, 04:36:57 PM »
My broadband is diabolical. I need a windows server with remote desktop. I want to host a Blockland server and a Minecraft server (NO advertisement intended). I already have a linux server I'm renting for $7.25 a month. This is for my website though. And I can not use it for game server hosting. I had a look at http://www.gameservers.com/ but that would be too pricey for me, I have a tonne of stuff going out every month.

So if anyone knows of one please let me know.

Off Topic / Need someone good with networking
« on: July 21, 2012, 03:54:13 PM »
Okay so I have a 3G dongle and router and then I have fiber router.

So two networks 3G and fiber optic

I want to link the two so everyone can connect via lan but I don't want anyone on the fiber to be able to use 3G. The reason for this is because I have a nas drive which I want on both networks.

Things I have
  • Network switch
  • NAS drive (network attached storage)
  • 3G router
  • Fiber router
  • Client devices

Can anyone help? and should it go Fiber to 3G to Switch or Fiber to Switch to 3G with the NAS on the switch?

Off Topic / I need a website designer
« on: July 05, 2012, 02:02:39 PM »
I make websites for people and I'm alright at the coding but I need a design before hand. Most clients would rather not do the designing though. you will be paid even via post if you have no bank account, you could even use pen and pencil (if you have a scanner) if your interested email me at info@webcodepro.co.uk, no minimum age required however sites must be legible. an example of a design will also be needed so I know what you can do. If your interested or know anyone that would be then please contact me.

[GSF]Ghost has got a poll up, for changing his maps to bricks. There is also an add-on that changes a map to bricks and it mentions something about 21. I just want to know what this is all about. Could someone shed some light on this please.
