You were trying to make fun of the F-15 because it was introduced like 20 years later and only capable of Mach 2.5. The Avro Arrow didn't achieve anything that people are claiming it did. It's just a normal jet, it would've been outdated soon enough.

I was not in any way making fun of the F-15.....

Actually the Avro Arrow was supposed to be capable of Mach 3.0 but it's max recorded speed was around Mach 2.3.

The F-15 was introduced in the mid 70s and can reach Mach 2.5.

I throw my half smoked cigarette off the balcony and walk back into the hotel room. I was going to have to find a place to stay. The hotel was nice and all, but it was far too expensive. Humming some folk tune, I pick my leather coat up off the bed and put it on, grabbing the room key as well. I checked to make sure my gun was loaded before stepping out of the room towards the elevators. The ride to the lobby was odd. As I walk towards the main doors, I receive very odd looks from hotel staff. Whatever. I step out onto the street and begin walking with no intention.

Strykers have very weak armor and no unique gun system (besides the MGS which is not very effective against most things).

And they're wheeled. Tracked vehicles are vastly superior to wheeled vehicles.
