1st squad and I enter the scene running towards the men. I fire a couple of shots from my .44 at both of the civilians and ordered 1st squad to secure the perimeter.

I sat there, in 2nd platoon 1st squad's dusty old tent, somewhere in the middle of Camp McCarran. I wiped dust and sweat off my aging face, going trough logs in the lamplight. "Transfer.. That'll be the day." I mutter under my breath. I pick up a burning cigar I had, laid on an ashtray and take a puff, putting it back down. As soon as I begin to write something, I'm interrupted by a young Private. "Sergeant, we've alerts from spotters in freeside that some NCR boys are being attacked. Command is too busy playing grab ass to send anyone to help." I look up at him, "Roger that. Suit up." he tells the other men from 1st squad as I grab my rifle and helmet. All of us half run out of McCarran to our comrades.

The backing down of the Afkoshlian government comes too late as the troops have already dropped from their aircraft. Peace is declared. However, troops in BMD-1s roll through large Afkoshlian cities, lowering citizen trust of the government.

Belsnia formally declares war on Afkoshlia, accepting Erinaum's alliance. The 1st Guards Airborne are sent over Southern Lestanian airspace to drop on Northen Afkoshlia and secure key points and towns. Missile  and aircraft defenses are all online and alert. The 2nd Armored Brigade is preparing to deploy. The national guard is called to their assigned positions.

Several armed men carrying M-70s (yugoslav AKs k) and multiple other unidentifiable weapons once again attempt to breach the new OCS training base in Erinaum. A heavy firefight is in progress. OCS operatives can also hear light machine-gun fire and men speaking Serbian.
