It wasn't the engines freezing, it was the oil becoming thick/frozen sludgy and the engines not being properly lubricated thus resulting in extreme oil pressures and the engines exploding.

Yesterday it rained and iced overnight when it was 82 degrees F the previous day. Then midday yesterday all the ice started melting on the ground and trees were being split in half from ice while everything else was dry. Now it's blue skies and freezing cold :(
