Lighting is really bad.

if the case (or keys) are yellowed, you can use hydrogen peroxide to make the plastics white again (retr0bright).

ABS keycaps will yellow over time, PBT can't yellow at all.

so let me get this straight
you'd use 5pin -> mini din -> ps2 -> usb
Three converters just to use a keyboard

Actually 2 converters, as 6 pin mini-DIN are the same as PS/2.

So
5pin-DIN -> 6pin-mini-DIN (PS/2) -> USB

That's the one my mom uses. Heh.

If I had a 5 pin DIN to Mini DIN w/ my Ps/2 to USB converter, I would consider using my Model F

i've never heard the modded matias keys but for the third time i was asking for a video of the unmodded matias keys because i haven't heard those either
i don't blame you for misunderstanding because my words can be a bit jumbled to myself some times but god damn

Excuse my ignorance, but the description of the video states:
"A quick video showing what happens when you mix up Matias Click and Matias Quiet Click switches, compared to the originals."

join the club. i loving hate the sound that loud keyboards make. loud obnoxious plasticy clacking at 400 decibels sucks ass in voicechats or any time at night when people are trying to sleep

Funny thing is, I don't use a headset when I use Skype, so when on call the people complain about my Model M's click, but hey, at least I'm not using my Model F keyboard.

ok but i was really asking for a video of them in action because i have no idea of what they sound like

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Son03f8ul4E

His channel reviews a lot of mechanical keyboards, and some of them are rare and obscure.

Yes Model M master race <3
Mine's a bit out of shape though, some keys don't work properly. I'm guessing the rivets that hold the internals together are shot, gonna buy some sockets and stuff in the weekend and find out.

Bolt modding can be risky, but will fix your board.

i have a huge weakness to clicky and loud keyswitches
one of my next boards that i'm going to get is gonna be a green pok3r
buckling springs are the loving stuff

i haven't been able to find a video of the matias click (not quiet click) switches in action even by searching on youtube. does anyone have a video?

also mechanical keyboard beginners:
if you don't want to spend too much but want to get into mechs here's the thing for you:

https://www.amazon.com/Qisan-Mechanical-Keyboard-68-Keys-Magicforce/dp/B01ABUJ0FY/ref=sr_1_1?srs=7936345011&ie=UTF8&qid=1466462158&sr=8-1&keywords=magicforce

the qisan magicforce is $40 and has a choice between like 3 different outemu switches (cherry mx clones)
the one i linked here has outemu blue which is a clone of the cherry mx blue but on their store page there's more

I believe there is a way to modify the Matias clicky switches to make them click louder, perhaps there is a dampener in the switch slider like with salmon ALPS.

Also, another good tenkeyless mechanical keyboard that is a bit entry level friendly is the Kurama K552

After a 5 month hiatus, the discussion and sharing of mechanical keyboards is back!

Some Questions about Mechanical Keyboards

Q: What are mechanical keyboards?
A: Mechanical keyboards are input devices that use an individual switch for each key rather than an entire membrane sheet with rubber domes.

Q: How are mechanical keyboards different than the standard boards?
A: Most Rubber Dome boards can be mushy in terms of keyfeel, whereas mechanical boards can have a unique characteristic to the switches and keyfeel. For example Cherry MX Blues have a distinct clicky noise when compared to an IBM Model M's Buckling spring board.

Switch Comparison

Let us start off with my favorite board, The IBM Model M.

What are some of the keyboards you use? Your favorite? Your recommended? /discuss

This topic wasn't really needed; I can understand why OP made this, but it isn't serious to warrant a drama on it.

He really needs to take it down a notch.

There is no point in that because Blockland doesn't have maps with an "on-rail" system like Star Fox when it's not on all-range mode.

Damn.

OT: You never fail to surprise me filipe! Great work!

Would it be possible to use a function key to make the wings actuate to and from All Range Mode?

Its always the younger crowd that cant seem to get their maturity together for even a day.

Its rare to find any gamers that are considered "tolerable" or "mature", let alone the younger crowd
