We didn't have hypercubes until after we had time, so logically the fourth dimension of space would not be the fourth dimension.Is it not logical to say its not time and that is just another form of space? I mean 1 Dimension = line 2 dimensional = cubes and stuff 3 dimensional = 3D; Getting the pattern here?
EDIT: But I suppose it doesn't really matter anyway because it is still four dimensional, whether or not they are the first four dimensions.

for say, if we had a cube on all of our desks, one half of it was in the third, one half of it was in the fourth.
we would only see half of it at any certain given time.
