ATI RADEON 4850  got it for 130$.

Or get the ATI RADEON 4850 Toxic, its just slightly better and has a cooler on the memory card.


I have the toxic and it runs all games on ultra high, and Crysis on HIGH with no dip in frames.

I think I'll probably get what Reactor Worker said since I don't have much money, besides I don't run anything that intensive.  Maybe one day when I have a job I can get a really nice set up... lol job

I play a lot of games on my grandpa's computer and it plays most games fine.  However when I want to play any source games like HL2, L4D or Portal it slows up considerably especially in outdoor scenes.

  My first question is what would be a good relatively cheap graphics card, about 120$ atm or cheaper that would be able to run source games smoothly.  My second question is how hard is it to install a graphic's card, I've put in things like CD/DVD drives and ram before is it any harder than that?

I did a little research and I found out the computer has the following slots inside

PCI: 2 Slots
PCIe x1: 1 Slot
PCIe x16 (Graphics): 1 Slot

I used to have a real bad problem with sleep walking.  It was really weird my parents told me I would even answer them when they were talking to me, thankfully I out grew it though.

Well as far as posting on the forums goes just try to use basic grammar and punctuation, some people around here are crazy about that but as long as your post is readable you should be fine (you seem to have that down though).  I wouldn't say you should hate anyone right off you should form your own opinions about people first.  Don't just jump on the bandwagon like so many here and decide you hate someone just because that's the popular thing to do.

As far as in game just don't ask for admin or trust from people you don't know it's really irritating.  And when you're done building in a server make sure you clean up if you don't plan to come back.  The only other thing I can think of is not to talk to yourselves in the chat that's really annoying too.  Anyways welcome to the game hope you have fun :D

I have recurring dreams where I'm hiding from gun men during a shooting but it always takes place in different places like a college, a game store and, a quickie mart.

The strangest dream I've had is where I was an plastic soldier telling my family good bye before getting shipped off to war.
