i moved my whole steam x86 file onto a new drive and the only problem i had with it was that it took a while with 70gb of games, but if you do move disks. all other documents dont need to be moved, because when you set a new install directory it lets the other folders know, plus the shortcuts on steam already launch to the location of said folders. make sure you set your steam install directory to the new steam directory location, as well as re-write any shortcut locations to the new one, otherwise games would install in a new steam directory where it was previously and you wouldnt be able to open steam with shortcuts


if you want long-term storage, go for hard drive, if you want to be able to take it anywhere without having to have a hard drive adapter for laptops, go for flash

Thanks for addressing that, can you move steam to an external one? is that also possible?

choosing between internal or external storage would be mostly your preference, but for external you'd want at least usb 3.0 for the transfer speed and if you get a physical external drive that would also require it's own power from the wall

thing is, I want to move the whole directory from program files (x86) to a new drive, let's just call this new drive Jim. I'd also like to move Origin as well to Jim, how do I do this?

I'd also like to note that some games have files in My documents (the sims 2 is one of these games that have a huge array of content stored in my documents), so how do those ones work as well?

I 100% agree with that because you can never know what to trust, but I just wanna see what I should think about before speaking my mind in the future

what you did wrong is associate with them by the sounds of it. ive gotten banned from several pro and anti Annoying Orange servers because i said a few things they didn’t like lol

I don't get why people ban others for hating on another person's opinion, is freedom of speech even a thing anymore?

I just wanna say something which will probably be criticized. I recently got banned from a discord that was predominantly left wing, Annoying Orange supporters were not welcome there at all and if you were one they'd call you a tribal and all that stuff. I've been a member on there for a long time and they were talking about "white privilege" and "black oppression", they were kind of being tribal towards white people so I said that racial privilege doesn't exist, ascribed statuses do exist and that you should work hard and make money rather than protesting out in the streets with BLM. Of course this is very controversial to say, sometimes I talk stuff but I'll say things that I feel should be said. But I got banned for saying that.


Can someone show me what I did wrong? or was I banned because the mods didn't like my opinion?

So recently my Hard disk has begun running very short on space and this is because of steam, a forgetton of media projects (including a huge directory of sound effects), other games and backups. I want to move all of that (including my whole steam directory) to another hard drive to free up space on my primary hard drive where the system and everything is stored. I need help on deciding which of these I should get:

• A portable external hard drive
• A completely fresh internal hard drive

Now, for the internal hard drive I don't exactly know if I can fit another one in my computer since it is a pre-built gaming pc. So I need to open it and check whether that is possible but I think I remember (not sure) the pc's details saying that that there is space for a second hard drive. I would prefer an internal hard drive so everything is stored on my computer and everything is more manageable

The other option is to get a portable external hard drive (a western digital one) but I was wondering whether you can move all of steam to that drive despite it being a portable one. The internal drive is £10 cheaper than the external hard drive by the way.

So what's better? getting an external one or an internal one? and can I move a whole steam directory to the external one?

As forgeted up America may be, the EU is far more worse than ever. Posting all those statistics to bash Annoying Orange doesn't mean stuff, here in the UK we're leaving the EU for a good reason but because of those stuffty laws the EU made, mainly to accept dozens of migrants I've lived in both America and the UK and I can tell you I'd prefer to go back to America and live there rather than spend more time in this stuff hole country known as the United Kingdom. If you look at Paul Joseph Watson's youtube channel you will clearly see the EU and the UK is forgeted

This has been an ongoing discussion for years. I believe that no on should say it because it's a derogatory term and I think black people are loving idiots for saying it to each other if they're so "sensitive" about it being said by a white person. Mainly because they have a bad past right? so why continue bringing it up if you're so "oppressed" it really doesn't make sense.

I'm Jewish and I don't call my friends yids, so why should black people call each other the N word? it doesn't make sense. In friend discussions when you're having banter, everyone should be able to say what they want because it's a joke but people take it out of context sometimes

this thread is incredibly detached and it worries me, like OP forgot people respond differently to emotions. maybe instead of asking why why why, tall to them and help them instead of making fun of someones clothes. not to mention you thinking this is specifically tumblr and horribly turning these people into nameless socialmedia users like thats all they are, amd all they do, tumblr. notthinking of other places this behavior could have stemmed from, just because a person posted a text image that youcan find on literally every socialmedia ever

The issue here is that, from what I have seen, it all comes from tumblr and some of it also comes from instagram as well. The primary issue I am trying to argue against is that these people are spreading their misery like it's a really good thing to be proud of. I understand that people respond differently to emotions and I addressed that in the OP, however, the same people that do this refuse to speak to anyone about it and go on about "No one can help me, I am my own demon" or something as edgy as that. I have tried speaking to friends that I know that are all depressive like this, and you know what they say? they either tell me to forget off or they don't want to talk to anyone about it. Tumblr is glorifying mental illness

This has to be stopped

Two of my previous rants are more related to things that I am interested in, video games and YouTube. This rant however is based on something more serious and something that I have no means of getting interested in.
The issue with tumblr
I have recently been absolutely flabbergasted from the absolute bullstuff I have been seeing on my Instagram as well as social media as a whole. I have come to the point were it is so shocking it leaves me so confused like working out a geometry question in mathematics, you know those atrocious questions that tell you to find x on some weird angle shape. This is basically how I feel right now. I am coming across many gifs and pictures, from mainly girls, spreading their mental illness like its good and its fine because you know people love taking in another person’s misery, right? Well loving no, tumblr (and Instagram sometimes) is absolutely glorifying mental illness like its something you should be proud of and it’s starting to get out of loving hand.

I just don’t understand why people waste their time online and act as edgy as they possibly can saying “My heart is already broken and no one else can break it” or other stuff like “Nothing can hurt me anymore” or “my emotions have gotten to me and I don’t care about life” I am absolutely sick of the people around me just looking at this stuff and crying about it. I know a girl that recently went through a break up and I know it’s awful cuz I’ve experienced a break up but she went on social media and liked stupid pictures like these:

She got so out of control, she sent me snaps of her knuckles in blood because she punched walls. I just don’t get this stuff, why do people (mainly girls) love to just spread this misery and act like it’s going to help? It just loving doesn’t help at all I mean why can’t they listen to a song that tells them to get better, you know like Tupac’s “keep ya head up” and have hope because that’s what I did when I was at my lowest points in life and it really helped a lot.


I never went around liking 10 pictures that display a message of self-loathing and making myself feel even more stuff. I just don’t get it, there are some people that are going to criticize what I say that we don’t know what some people are going through and I can only get that if the person that is depressed has had an awful upbringing, such as if they have problems at home with their family. But if you have a family that works their loving ass off and supports you to go to school and you have no issues at school, I have to say I really don’t understand what you’re doing.


There are so many people out there that don’t even want to talk to their friends or family about the matter and instead they go onto tumblr posting pictures of their self-harmed body and their black and white pictures of quotes saying “I’m fine” or stupid stuff, and I have seen this, “I’m happy 2 be sad”. They don’t want to talk to Self Delete prevention lines about this stuff and it just confuses me. I just want to know:

• Why are they so depressed to this extent?
• Why do they think spreading their misery will help them get through their troubles?
• Why can’t they open up to their family about the issue?

I know a person who lost his father in 9/11, he has been depressed, and god bless this guy, but he has gotten through his depression, he never spread his depression to anyone in fact he would always try his best to be happy about life. He always wanted to play xbox 360 with me and my friends and he was always studying in school, studying his hardest. He is the example of a person that is blessed, he doesn’t spread his misery and he cares about the people around him.


Why can’t these people on tumblr get through this stuff? It’s loving sickening that this stuff they post influences younger people, and again mainly girls, to think like this. It just corrupts them as a whole and makes them even more insecure
Modern age aesthetics culture is forgeted up beyond belief

This part is tied into Tumblr’s glorifying of mental illness as it also plays a part of exploring a person’s thoughts. Now I don’t know about this culture all too much other than it being some sort of art form, but I have seen people go on about this culture to spread their negativity as a result. The picture above being a sort of example, you see these stupid people posting on Instagram their tight jeans and ass being flashed off in a mirror and sometimes they’ll talk about being “lonely” or the drugs they take. It is also worthy to note that these sort of people also appear to be obsessed with smoking cigarettes and cannabis

If you’re living in London like me, you’ll see these sorts of people in places like Shoreditch and other areas which are all urbanized. But then again these people also love sharing their loneliness and depression and I just don’t understand why they want to spread this misery.

If anyone reading this actually suffers from depression please do not go onto tumblr or any of these stupid loving sites and seek help immediately. Please, because otherwise you’re going to be stuck in these places just feeling even worse. I just don’t get this culture at all and it’s become so popular, it just has to be stopped. There is nothing good about it and I'm seeing friends around me just becoming worse and worse the more they view this stuff. It is not healthy, it is not something to be proud of, it is misery and negativity that should not be spread.

but in all seriousness I don't get how these type of characters would work, I see too many people wanting master chief and I don't get it. I get some people joke about it but I've seen people being serious about it, if there is a halo rep I'd say the arbiter is more worthy in fact arbiter would be a great fighter in the game. He has a sword, punches, grabs and is voiced by Keith David, that would work very well

In my opinion, Shadow as an echo fighter is looking extremely likely and I think he'll be the next echo fighter revealed. I also think tails will also be made playable since people have been wanting tails to be playable since melee.

Rayman also looks a bit likely to happen and I think the rabbids would be made assist trophies. Mainly because Rayman is one of the most requested characters and Nintendo and ubisoft have worked on recent crossovers with the rabbids and mario franchise. This looks likely

Banjo and kazooie would be a good inclusion mainly because Phil Spencer is open to negotiating with nintendo on the inclusion. Banjo Kazooie's music composer would also think it'd be a good idea

In a CS GO comp match I was getting really annoyed with how the other team was playing (running around with shotguns and just generally being annoying), my team is 14-3 up and about to win. Throughout the past 2 games prior to our 14 lead, me and some Russian guy started arguing because he kept calling the connector, the connector and I kept calling it tunnel mainly because I was going mid with an AWP and stopping people in the mid zone, some people got to connector and I kept calling it tunnel. We argued over this for no reason while we were winning and clearly dominating the game. We won but why the forget would anyone argue about that in the last few rounds of the game?
