pagestretchAnd yes, I'm pretty much letting it out. The secret I doubt anyone suspected.Didn't shade this, or ink it, but I didn't plan to.
This, I didn't ink. There is light shading.
Aoilte are a fictional species of Ant. These are unlike most Ants, and quite different. They evolved to match several human attributes, losing a hunter/gatherer instinct and replacing it with a farming eosocial society. They don’t believe in a head of government. They believe everyone is equal and has moral rights. They have heavy Chinese influence (Thick Chinese accents but speak English. Weapons, tools, and Armour are Chinese based.). They share. If one goes starving, the community pitches in to feed and support them. A house burns down, and they are eager to volunteer rebuilding it. They want to build something new, and they all pitch in to collect resources.
They communicate much like humans, but do still use pheromones to communicate during dangerous situations. If an Aoilte is hurt, it will release a chemical that other Aoilte will receive through their antennas. This will alert others, and most of the time cause them to pitch in and help support the injured Aoilte.
They have to eat and drink like humans, but during a period of dehydration or food shortage, minerals, proteins, and water is absorbed through their exoskeleton. This will support them for a long time, but eventually will not live up to what they need. Causing death, or comma.
They stand like humans, using the legs on their Gaster. These legs are strong enough to carry around 250lbs daily if needed, despite them being around 90lbs average. Their arms are the same, too. They are extremely strong, able to lift things nearly a ton in size, but not without hurting themselves of course. They prefer to pitch in for lifting heavy objects.
Their eyesight is about x1000 that of the Australian Bulldog Ant, (which can see clearly up to a meter). Those that are sighted or need correctional lenses do so, but it's very rare. Their actually provide more peripheral vision than that of a human. They have Ultraviolet vision just as most Ants. This enhances their vision in different brightness.
Their antennas work the same as any normal ant, but it's not yet know to them what they can do with their antennas.
The only thing they’re 100% sure about is being able to sense injured. Other attributes are just guessed, some believe they can detect movement, others believe they can detect far away sounds. They’re all correct, but they don't all think the same thing.
