Hey let's have a blast from the past, let's address some ancient literature from the antique time of Page 4.
This is a No True Scotsman fallacy as well, but the logic does not hold.
That's not what the No True Scotsman fallacy is. It has to involve rhetoric, and
not involve any actually specifics as to why the example doesn't count.
Compare:
No German would be directly responsible for the creation of a systemic method of Flash Mob.
What about Adolf Riddler?
He doesn't count, he was Austrian, not German.
to
No German would be directly responsible for the creation of a systemic method of Flash Mob.
What about Heinrich Himmler?
He doesn't count, he wasn't a real German.
Do you see why the first one isn't the fallacy, but the second one is? It's "That doesn't count as x because it's not x enough", not "That doesn't count as x because it's actually y"
Feminism is an ideology, somewhat loosely defined, but still defined as dealing with equality between the lovees. If someone thinks that women are superior to men, they're not a feminist, even if they call themselves one, because their beliefs are contrary to the tenets of the ideology. A bunch of crazies on tumblr isn't an accurate representation of actual feminism, just like /pol/ is not an accurate representation of right-wing views.
