noedit: pokebank better come out soon, i have a bunch of legendaries i wanna transfer

and uh, can i also mention i HAD a shiny gastly in pokemon diamond, until i lost the copy of the game

i guess i'll have to masuda if i want a shiny gengar

I got a shiny poliwrath and taught it some moves
it's got waterfall, poison jab, rock tomb, and brick break (I'll replace it with something cool later)
Mostly tm moves but poliwrath has a tiny move pool

i have a shiny poliTOED

personally i think politoed is better in terms of stats, but whatever suits you best
shiny politoed is cotton candy colored too which is another reason

yesterday, i was hatching old eggs, came across a shiny poliwag. that night, i hatched zubats and got a shiny zubat (which i so desperately wanted.) today, i got a shiny luvdisc by fishing.

Today I was in a trade with a friend. Little did I know he was a kid that sounded like a 10-11 year old.
I don't have a mic, so I can't really communicate with people who use game chat. didn't say anything during the chat.
Anyway, he wanted me to trade him some shiny pokemon. I only have 3 shiny pokemon so far, them being a Medicham, Kecleon, and a Cinccino.

He kept begging me to trade him 2 of my shinies so he can get a legendary pokemon from his friend. A cheap deal? I think it is.

He wasn't even offering me great pokemon. He just offered me things like a Golem.

I suppose you could do that. I feel like it being trapped into an Ice Beam would be pretty bad though if it has Protean, if it doesn't the Crobat could live because Crobat's pretty bulky.

Anyways, has anyone else been avoiding using the ridiculously overused Pokemon? (IE: Blaziken, Lucario, Talonflame, Greninja, etc)

i don't use any of them except greninja

sometimes i switch him with empoleon though so i guess it works out
