Just because there's microtransactions doesn't make it p2w, they have to make money somehow, from what we've seen all weapons appear to be obtainable in-game.

they fired marty o donnel. what made the halo music so distant was his musicality. now we just have the basic teenage BRRRRRRRRRRRZZZZZZZT inception kind of music and its just completely stupid.

Actually, if I'm correct, Marty stuck with Bungie after they left Microsoft and Halo to make the music for Destiny and then Bungie fired him, not 343, Marty was never a part of 343

I could be wrong.

If I recall correctly, correct me if I'm wrong, this a closed beta test, not a full release. You may be right, but I wouldn't make these assumptions when there's not even an official release date yet.

But did you see the loadout stuff? I think there may be buyable things. (which makes sense because it's F2P)

I don't mind microtransactions in F2P games, they have to make money somehow. If they do sell stuff outside of cosmetics like weapons and stuff that can give a player an advantage they need to be able to be earned in game.

Cosmetics = Okay to sell

Weapon skins that don't give the player an advantage = Okay to sell

Weapons that can give an advantage and can't be earned in-game = Not okay to sell

A new Halo game is being made for PC, it's a F2P game built on the Halo 3 engine and they're intending for it to run smoothly on lower-end PCs.

The closed beta is starting this spring and it will be exclusive in Russia at the moment, this is built as a PC game and there are no plans to release it to Xbox

How do you feel about this?

So pretty much the growth of Chief? Since he was abducted to become a Spartan, and pretty much grew to become a savior of everything with the events of Halo 3. Now he's a traitor for more than likely leaving the UNSC after Cortana died. So maybe Locke is being sent to hunt him down and bring him back. I can't remember if this was officially described by 343 or not but this is my theory.

Also if any of you read New Blood I'm guessing the Spartans behind Locke in the teaser thing that was in MCC is Buck and Romeo from ODST

I liked Halo 4's MP but I wasn't too crazy about the single player, I'm excited for Halo 5's story because it will be interesting from the view of someone else instead of Chief. I love Chief as much as the next guy but he's about run his course.

Apart from the main post, and the big one under it, there isn't really much into the whole breakup that I could see, especially since Greg deleted a whole ton of tweets.

They haven't said what really happened outside of "business disagreements" but it's obviously been pretty serious to cause this much of a mess.

I know Jirard said he didn't want people to turn this into conspiracy grumps but I just want put my little theory in.
Since a lot of people didn't like Greg on the show, I believe Jirard wanted to take him out of the show since it was affecting views and that idea didn't really end diplomatically.

Not really related to Game Grumps but I figured I'd put this here since Jirard is a friend of the Grumps and I can't find a related thread.

Greg Wilmot of The Completionist is leaving TOVG and The Completionist. The departure has been more than messy. Sort of reminiscent of the GG split in terms of fan reactions.
