Suggestions & Requests / Event that changes music volume
« on: January 22, 2016, 09:19:44 PM »
Visolator's 2d music add-on can change the volume of music. Is it possible for someone to make an event that changes the volume of music?

Help / Re: How to convert my music into .ogg?
« on: January 18, 2016, 10:05:12 PM »
Use Audacity, cause it is free.
It is as easy as loading in the file and going: file > export > .ogg

Also make sure the file isn't bigger than 1MB (1024KB)
make sure the file is mono too.

also a tip: if you are having trouble getting it under 1mb:
1. change the 32 float to a 16 PCM
2. in the export options, set .ogg export quality (or whatever it is) to zero. (i keep it at 1 just for good measure) it changes seriously nothing notable and you'll get a smaller file size.

Add-Ons / Re: Drop Down Search 0.4 | BETA

i was a little disappointed to see that the original version of the add-on didn't do this already but now this add-on is really god-tier now.

What's the point of jailing someone and having them waste a player slot when you can just ban them?

it was an example, ive seen some chords having weird fingerings like that.
well truth is most guitar chords don't have that weird bullstuff fingerings
unless you're trying to play some jazz chords

how the hell is that even physically possible?
tell me what kind of weird stuff you're trying to play that requires you to play 1st, 3rd, and 6th strings anyways
(that means tell me what frets)

the thing that pisses me off the most is that no matter how much people explain to me, i cant figure out how to mute certain strings. like for example on guitar if i only wanted to play the 1st, 3rd, and 6th, how would i mute the other strings?
place fingers on 1st, 3rd, and 6th string
now place your finger over the strings you wanted muted while still holding the 1st, 3rd, and 6th strings

If you buy a guitar, buy a really expensive one.

The logic is that if you invest a lot of money into something, you'll want to be dedicated because otherwise it's a massive waste. I bought a cheap electric guitar and gave up early, and I almost never played with the several acoustic guitars I've had.
please don't do this. you're only wasting your money.

i need a new hobby, but after trying to learn a 6 string guitar for about 3 months, i figured out that 6 strings weren't good for me. seems like 4 strings would be easier to me. if i do this, i need to adjust myself to the bass clef since i've only known treble for about 4 years.
whats gonna happen is that you're going to get a bass and realize its the exact same predicament as a guitar and then youre going to find something "easier"
