Who is going to use the prop tool/duplicator?

The support script itself.

Also, using 'third party tools' (duplicator) framework (especially since it's written pretty decent) will make development and implementing such a feature a lot faster. Shouldn't re-create the wheel if you don't have to.

It wouldn't work without heavy editing.

It can work with a little support script and it's what I'm going to use for my prop system in LoB2.

How would that work? Can you set zones with it or something?

Yeah.

Can you set dups with prices?

I don't see why not.

I got close to doing something like this with conans prop mod that was edited a bit, however its completely broken now rofl. If Conan fixes the prop mod this is completely do able.

Just use Zeblotes Duplicator.

Assuming you have no programming knowledge, your '1 day off' isn't going to be really productive in terms of creating content. You need to learn about the scripting language, the basic concept of programming and a few other things which depending on your learning curve, could take from 1 week to several months to actually create something minimal.

If you want to get started:

Here's another good link:

You can also edit pre-existing add-ons such as the default gun, to learn exactly how all of that good stuff is handled in blockland.

I mean, cool but

What is the point of this topic?

Is it for informational purposes? Can you at least put in the original topic that it's default Blockland Source Code? (when you actually use default source code). Maybe even a little description for people who don't understand why you just posted this.

What does 'stop working mean'. Also, learn to use either switches or understand when to use else If instead of just if. Also, take pride in formatting your code as this can help debugging.

You have the playerobject type, but you don't have an if statement for when the raycast hits the bot.

What a negative reply.

Just kidding, feedback is appreciated, but we're already way to far into the build to pull out..

Haha I didn't mean to make it sound negative, the truth is, you can't satisfy everyone. The key is to look at existing RPGs and brown townyze what exactly about their model makes players play and keep playing. A lot of people complain about grinding, but there's going to be grinding in ANYTHING you do.

Take real life for example, you are going to school/work everyday, grinding. Do you play FPShooters? You are grinding to increase your mechanics/aim and playstyle. Are you doing quests/stories in some singleplayer game? Grinding. Are you learning a new language? Grinding. I can go all day, lol.

Grinding is inevitable, what I'd suggest, is once again - looking at some games that people play continuous and brown townyze the model they use and how grinding isn't detouring them from playing the game. You can also do some research on psychology and how humans process rewards.

Also, don't bring up LoB  :cookieMonster:, I wrote that fresh out of highschool with minimal game-knowledge. Good luck with your RPG man, I'd play a good one, if one was hosted.

You will never satisfy people when creating an RPG. Good luck my friend.

Put some echos in there and show us the console.log to see where it's actually stopping/crashing. Also, could be something to do with lengths, don't take my word as gospel though.
