• I've won two of those contests in Lego Magazine.
• I've grapheme–color synesthesia; my perception of words and individual characters/numbers is intertwined with the experience of colors.
• Online I'm fairly easygoing but IRL I am extremely sarcastic. I was voted both most sarcastic and blunt of my graduating class.
• My school's music teacher loves me so much I get to go on all the band trips even though I don't play an instrument. It's amusing because half of the kids have absolutely no idea why I'm there. Once I graduate she's naming a utility closet in my honor.

My best friend is Chinese and is still in the process of really learning English, so I help him out by "proofreading" (almost completely rewriting) his literature schoolwork. The other day he asked me to proofread his Common App essay so I "proofread" it and everything was just fine.

Yesterday he sends me a message on Facebook asking me to check out some revisions he made. They were all terrible; totally unnecessary and breaking the grammar. The last sentence was the best. It was something along the lines of "Though learning English may be a challenge, I will overcome all obstacles yadayada because I am determined to succeed" originally, but he changed it to something like "Though learn English be challenge I am afraid to ask questions."

I told him what I thought and got ready to fix the mess when he responded with "I already sent it."

Caught a shiny oddish last night and a shiny kecleon this morning, not even 2 hours of game time apart.

Congrats! Always loved shiny Kecleon.

I still haven't gotten to the first gym yet.
I've wanted to play so bad but have been preoccupied with other stuff. :(

The gunk is on the bits that power is transferred to when the 3DS is sitting on a charger stand.



I can't see why it would be causing the problem. Even if the gunk doesn't allow power to be transferred that way it should still be working fine if the adapter is plugged directly into the console.

My 3DS takes 5-10 seconds to power up, sometimes longer if I haven't used in it awhile. idk how that works
If you do decide to open it up, you can get a good tri-wing at this site. I think it uses tri-wings anyways, can't remember right now

Anyone plan on picking ORAS up at a midnight release?

I'd really wanted to after I made it for the X/Y launch, but we moved recently and I'm no longer in walking distance of our rad little local game store. :(

I've plans to be in a carpool to Walmart after school tomorrow, though! Might be even more fun. <3

Still don't know which game I'll be getting as the version exclusives are still coming in, but at the moment I'm leaning towards Ruby. Seedot and Mawile ftw

If you've only just started to listen to him I suggest your next album purchase to be Projections. But yea, Wolfgun's amazing at lyrics, and all his songs have an amazing texture and feel to them. You should listen to his other work, there isnt a bad song he's made (in my opinion).

I've been listening to both Projections (at your advice, thanks) and Dark Arts a bit recently. Awesome stuff. <3

My school had 8 freshman year, 2 sophomore year, and last year we had about a dozen small fires.
There were a couple on different elementary schools in the area during my sophomore/junior years.
None this year, luckily!

Half the time it's -10˚F and we're out in the parking lot in t-shirts (that's Maine for you). The busses take forever to prep on short notice so usually we get to watch the first response and sometimes the canine unit storm onto campus.

Torchic and its evolutions will always be my favorite, but I've put so much time into them over the years that I feel like I want something different. Mega Swampert is too cool but I think I might actually go with Treecko.
