It's probably the best thing I've built in a while, It has good elastic/rope suspension, thruster-less steering, sounds  and it can go up to 35Mph currently (Or if you press space while inside the car, go at 17mph for tight areas).

I feel so boss riding it, especially on HL2:EP2 maps, it's not the greatest 4x4 out there but it's damn good.

Drama / The Rules : Do people even care anymore?

This is not a drama on a person, but instead a drama on moderation and the forum rules.
Ever since I joined in 2007, I've seen a huge drop in moderation standards on the forum, over time people started getting away with terrible things that I'll list below.
1. Do not post ambiguous topics.  The title of your thread should describe its contents. 

WHAT. Why would she do this?

2. Do not post adult content.

3. No warez - Do not talk about pirating software at all.
Suprisingly, I don't have much to put here since people who do this get banned in a matter of seconds.
But people still constantly mention The Pirate Bay, which unlike other torrent sites was made for piracy.
4. Use the Search feature before posting a question.
This rule has been thrown out the window, people can ask whatever overasked question they please without searching first and get away with it, though it's not doing much damage.
5. Do not plea for sympathy

I'd rather die than be in prison.

I'd actually rather die than be in handcuffs. It's my biggest phobia.
One of the strongest links between all serial killers is a lack of paternal figure and a bad relationship with the maternal figure.

Although I was never abused, I never felt loved as a kid. My mother worked at nights, and would sleep during the day. I looked after myself from middleschool onwards.

I switched school several times as a kid. I moved in the 2nd grade and was put into a Catholic school, where I was beat for having Pokemon toys. I went to another school in the 3rd grade, and then to another county in the 6th. In the 8th, I was doing so poorly academically I became homeschooled and lost complete contact with the outside world. In the 9th, I moved again, took up another school, and remained a recluse until being expelled in the 10th grade. Then I became an online student and failed to interact with others.


But, I did have something. Something that kept my mind occupied. Something that gave me interests, and talents. I could socialize, to some degree, and keep myself busy and happy.

You guys.

That's why I keep coming back. I played Blockland before retail, and I still feel indebted to it. I like you guys far too much to just disappear because of some silly forum drama.



Now, can we all stop being so grudging and relax? I don't think I'll be going away.

Also, "my dog/cat/fish/grandma/grandpa/mom/dad/boner died" threads count here as well.
7. Do not flame - If the entire point of your post is to tell someone what an idiot they are, don't bother.

BONUS : Trolling
The whole "You can only be banned for trolling if you admit it" concept that seems to be used by the moderation staff is loving stupid, this is what let people such as IUV and Stocking (when she was new to the forum) to quickly take advantage of people.
People need to be banned for obviously trolling, you can't say someone wasn't trolling when they where making research of someone's dead dog and talking about how it deserved to die, can you?
All I can really say is, me and probably many others are probably embarrassed at how the moderation here has degraded so badly since 2010, we need more moderators (there are some good members who can fill in this) or a total rewrite of the rules, as right now we're just about as organized as the ROBLOX forum.

Shout at me, call me an idiot, EPIC WEEN TROLL XD!!! me by bending my points, whatever barrel you want to scrape, but think about it, why are you trying to defend the idea of breaking the rules?

Modification Help / Mapping after v21

We all probably know that we'll unfortunately have to say farewell to interiors and terrain for the next big update.

Implying that custom maps will still be possible after the update (but without the terrain/interiors features, of course.) I'm thinking of making flat maps that are more than just simple slate edits, A lot of people here probably would still like having some pre-built scenery surrounding their builds, so currently I'm working on a bloko-styled forest "slate" with trees everywhere.

Here's a W.I.P model of one tree I'm working on, it'll be a DTS ingame.

So, what are the other mappers going to do once the update arrives?

So, today I was busy trying to get rid of a virus that somehow managed to get on my computer, I annihilated it and my computer seemed to work fine after that.
Then I was browsing through some Mario Kart videos, suddenly Windows Media Player pops up, playing something called "secret.wav" which is a voice of a woman saying the letters of "SECRET" with an echo effect, which I'm pretty sure I haven't even downloaded on my computer

I took out my router in fear that someone's actually controlling my computer, but nothing turns up on ctrl-alt-del.

Holy forget.

Games / Remembering the GBA.

So, while I was looking through my room and I came across a bag full of my old GBA stuff.
I childhoodasmed.
Asdf, there where so many games that I missed, Mario Kart Super Circuit, Super Mario Advance 2, and my first and most cherished GBA game, the Pokemon Sapphire that I got when it released (2002 i think.) that I never deleted the save of.
My sceptile that i moved to Pokemon Pearl must be over 9 years old by now, i'm planning on transferring it to Black or White when i get either game.

When 3DS homebrew cards with GBA emulation support arrive, I'd want to own one and put backups of my physically owned GBA games on it.
