Will there be more default styled weapons?

We need more of these types of weapons.

The novelty/original weapons are the most fun to play around with in deathmatches, which is mainly why there is so much appeal in the old weapons.

you wouldn't need to, but if you had to pick one, which would it be?
Shadows and shaders.

Has the option of switching back to default, hinders performance only a fraction of what 3D studs would, compliments the build without hindering performance at a constant rate, complete user control.

3D Studs

Adds studs to each and every brick and would need to account for every shape, does not compliment the build as much as shaders/shadows, increases load time and download time by at least 5x.

But wouldn't the 3D stud effect only be visible if lit by light?
The sun is a light, brick-spawned or projectile spawned light are lights...

So the stud effect would always be visible.

How about a actual 3D stud model only in screenshots (like shadows on bricks in screenshots before v21) and have normal maps in real-time rendering?
This is worse than any idea suggested before this, not to mention impossible unless Badspot was interested himself.

I would much rather have normal maps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=VaAELYgp7vw#t=44
This is the best option considering it would cover every type of stud texture; such as the 1x1/2x2 round studs that cut off in the corners.

You absolutely cannot do 3D studs.

do you think you could make it cull faces that aren't seen? like if two 1x1 bricks are stacked, the top face of the bottom brick wouldn't be created. this would really help for making brick vehicles
I just may make it do that, I could have a version of the script that joins all of the bricks together but culls the faces as well as a version that does not join everything together but does not cull faces.

Culling is a problem only when each brick is its own object, which is ideal if you wish to make something like a brick vehicle, or modify a build brick by brick.

However, culling may be an issue when two vertices are directly on top of each other, which could equal to that face being completely hidden when say you have a 1x1, and you do the check on the top face.

EDIT: BLS Importer released.

How does that reserve face count? You need a face for each texture.

And as the above said, yeah, it would look terrible.

Would love to some how write to his parents tbh. From experience ISPs abuse departments are rarely much more than an automated responser, pointless going down that route.

A single stud would have a minimum of 5 faces.

A 1x1 now has 9 faces.

A 1x1 with a stud would have 14 faces.

A 64x64 (4096 studs) would have a total of 20489 faces.

This is not doable.
