Event that can save and load a player's datablock. Would be kept permanently even after server goes down. Could be very useful for RPGs and the like.

People in the past have joked about a Blockland Campaign or Adventure Mode. I'd like to make these jokes into a reality.

Blockland Campaign: The Gold Brick, is going to be a single player / co-op campaign. It will contain many references to Blockland and its community. Work has already begun:

























The Story:

I'm going to be putting the story so far on page 5. The one on page three is outdated.


How can I help?

What I most need are references to the game. I'd like to include as many references to players, event, add ons, etc... I already have some things in mind including the Gold Brick, Badspot, Kompressor, TBM, Ephi, V21, etc...

I could also use people to act as bots in the final game. You could be a simple one or two line bot, or you could have a whole area dedicated to you and some quest. Please give a suggestion as to your role, lines, and a picture of yourself if possible.

If you feel you're good at building in the style depicted in the screenshots, I could use help on that, as well.



Finished World 1 of the Campaign! There are 8 areas, offering about 20 minutes of playtime, more or less depending on how thorough you are.

Recently I've had a lot of time on my hands but haven't had anything to do with it. So, I started fixing up / finishing some old-ish builds.

The build is Isla Nublar from Jurassic Park. It contains features from both the movie and the book, though some things have been moved around. The screenshots don't show much, so there is a lot left to explore and such.

Suggestions & Requests / Large Jungle Trees

There's really a lack of large tropical trees. We have the palm trees, but you need to place hundreds to make an area look dense with foliage, even then it doesn't look good.

Would someone be willing to make some jungle tree bricks? Here are some examples of what I think looks nice:

Gallery / Jorgur's RPG

Due to the combination of a lot of people wanting to see this back + lack of things for me to do + finding a lot of the old files from this on my old computer, I've decided to take a crack at recreating Jorgur's RPG. So far mostly terrain is done, which I've been recreating mostly on memory. I've tried to make it look nicer than the 90 degree cliffs that were in the map.





-I'm recreating buildings using screenshots / videos.







-The bridge every player tried to jump across upon first joining, forgot to turn on water.





-Full map as of 6/11/2016



Going to have a playtest of the actual RPG on Thursday, around 9 AM to 2 PM EST. I don't think I'll have the level system in place yet, but there will be mining, shops, and most of the enemies to fight. Hopefully terrain will be done too.


Playtest will be pushed back till nearly 11 AM EST, seeing as I have a couple things to do before. Sorry.



I don't really need help building anything, the terrain is quick and basic, and the buildings can be remade from screenshots / video. I am lacking those though, any screenshots or info is greatly appreciated. Any saves / add on files / whatever is also appreciated. Thanks for reading!

General Discussion / Pirate RPG

I didn't want to start this topic until I was nearing completion. Depth, Star Wars, and a couple other things are in the works, but this is my main project at the moment.



Pirate RPG will be an open world exploration game. I plan to have multiple features to it, including:

-Large and pretty map, unique locations.
-Quests and Leveling system.
-PVE / PVP.
-Story to follow.
-Possibility of adding Pirate Crews / Bands? Not really sure, more suggestions are welcome.

Suggestions & Requests / /PVP command to disable fighting between players

/title. A command that allows a specific player to be included in player vs. player fighting. /PVP once would toggle it on, allowing them to fight any other players that also have PVP on. /PVP again would disable it. From a quick skim through some search results, haven't found anything like this, but I've seen it on things like Jorgur's RPG. Maybe also give players with pvp on a different colored name? That's not really needed, but that'd be great too. Thanks for reading and helping.

Gallery / Thoughts on some terrain

I've noticed that a lot of people stack a couple layers of ramps on a flat surface and call that an island, I've even done that multiple times.


-This was a thing I made 2-3 years ago, shows the layering of ramps on flat ground. While a lot of the map is missing, this build is over 32k bricks




-Now I've recently come to like this style, this build is nearing 3k bricks, and is way better IMO, even despite this being a newer build and of course I've gotten better over the years.


-With water.



What are your thoughts on it? I like this more because it looks more fluent and natural, and I don't really see this often.

Help / How do you raise Environment Water past slider limit?

/title. How do you raise the water height found in environment options past the slider bar limit (which is 100 Meters I'm pretty sure). Is there some console command, like setting fov higher than what exists in the advanced options tab? Help is appreciated, thanks!

Drama / Ocelotus (46998) using / distributing blhacks

With few servers on in the morning, I joined boss battles for the first time in months. After some time, Ocelotus started talking about blhacks. I didn't think it was anything, he kept floating in mid air but I dismissed it as just lag. This made me really think about it though:









After some time he just left. I didn't check the download, he might just be joking / trying to stir up stuff, but so far it looks pretty real. What do you guys think?

Help / How do you make Slayer bots attack consistently?

When bots are set to enemies in slayer (Onbotspawn > bot > setteam > enemy) they just sit around / do regular idle bot things. They often have to be provoked to start a fight. In the default minigame however, bots will always attack first (which is what I'm going for).
