Seeing as I've scrapped put Depth on the backburner for now, along with the recent release of the new Star Wars, I thought I'd work on a new project.
Star Wars is a massive topic. There's just too much to try to include in one game, so I'm going to focus on the Star Wars from the original trilogy. So far, I plan on having:
Allegiance - Upon joining the server, players will have to decide whether they'll be apart of the Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire. This will decide who their friends and enemies are, where they can travel, what quests they can do, etc... You will not be able to change your allegiance.
Travel - After deciding their side, players have the option to travel to multiple planets / other areas. Some locations will be restricted to certain allegiances / levels.
Warzones - Warzones will be locations where both sides can travel to, and fighting will be encouraged.
Quests - Players will follow quests throughout the locations they visit. Upon completion, players will be rewarded and can further progress.
Levels - A level system will exist. Leveling up will make players stronger, unlock more areas, etc... Levels will be gained through quests and fighting enemies.
Credits - (Currency, self explanatory). Credits will be used to buy items, trade(?), etc...
Jedi / Sith - A higher tier of the Rebels / Empire. Will be unlocked after a certain amount of time, will make players stronger, unlock more areas, lightsabers...
Lightsabers - Going along with the Jedi / Sith, players will be able to craft their own unique lightsaber after a Hercules-tasks-like quest.
Along with these, I have some other thoughts for features that I still haven't quite figured out how to implement / whether should be added:
Apprentice System - Again, going along with Jedi / Sith, hope to have some system where players can form a symbiotic-like relationship, student-master, etc...
Trade - Players could be able to buy items and sell them off at different planets for profit. Maybe have something like bounty hunters / smugglers also get involved?
Community Events - Events where players get involved together, things like Speeder Races, attacks on Deathstar, space battles, I really don't know yet.

-Going to have a playtest tomorrow (1-1-16) around 3 PM - 5 PM EST. This'll feature the 2 new quests with the Jedi / Sith system, hope to see you there.
Well, thanks for reading up to here,I don't really need any help building / eventing / whatever. I'll be accepting help, pm / post here if you're interested. Suggestions and ideas are also welcomed, thanks!
