EDIT: also, you can bring it in and write "RETURN TO SENDER" in sharpie on the package if you're gonna be that paranoid. Just don't open it and wait a few days, but really there's next to no chance of getting caught. The police aren't going to conduct a sting operation on you for ordering some marijuana online.

The sellers are experts at shipping discreetly. If your order gets caught in customs and does not arrive, you almost always get a partial to full refund. SR has an escrow system where the seller does not receive your payment until you "Finalize" your order. Some sellers may require you to "Finalize Early" to prevent you from skipping out on their money, but after a few purchases usually they'll let you finalize when it arrives. This pretty much eliminates scamming. Also, on the topic of shipping, if it arrives and the police show up there's this thing called plausible deniability, essentially you say you didn't order it and they can't prove that you did.
you can totally buy guns on the silk road dude.
also, when the package comes, keep it on your doorstep for like 3 days. if the police come knocking, you can say that you got a package and you don't know who it was for so you left it out on your doorstep. If the police isn't there within a week, you're good to take it inside and do what you please.
