Well when I for one play an RPG like the Elder Scrolls, I want variety in the setting. Elsweyr seems too tropical for me. If they could set it in all of Tamriel, where Elsweyr was just one setting out of many, we'd all be satisfied.
But Cyrodiil is just as varied as Elsweyr would be.
In Cyrodiil you have snow and grasslands. Thats it.
In Elsweyr, you have vast deserts, jungles, oceans, grasslands, ect.

BUT LET ME JUST THROW IN A TWIST!

What if, sense Elsweyr isnt as big as Morrowind, Cyrodiil, or Skyrim, what if they combined Elsweyr and Valenwood in one game, and have the story spread across both.
That, that would be lovey.

Tundra, snow, pine forests, sycamore forests, hot springs, swamps, rocky badlands, all peppered with snow-capped mountains. About as varied as it gets, really.
Quote from: The Elder Scrolls Wiki
Elsweyr is a harsh expanse of badlands and dry plains; only in the south, near the oceans, does the land become somewhat fertile. Rainforests cover this area, and various crops, such as sugarcane or the semi-illegal moon sugar.
The most northern town in Elsweyr is Riverhold. The town is built along a waterfall going down a rather steep hill into a water basin below. During an attack they would burn the rope bridges and stairs to stop the invaders from passing. Further west is the town of Dune, another hill based town in the harsh Anequina desert. The Palace there is often home to political disputes. The town is also prone to many sandstorms and droughts.

Further south are the towns of Orcrest and Corinth. Orcrest is home to a massive Orc population. Within its walls it holds many different types of beast races, Orcs, Argonians and Minotours.

Contained within the harsh deserts are the burried remains of Dwemer cities, long forgotten and unexplored due to the difficulty involved in gaining entry. Dig sites to entrances can be covered overnight by the fierce sand storms in many of the central regions.
I really like that, though. Vast. expanding deserts... Oasis near the sea...
Tons of games have pulled off the Desert look, Games like Journey are amazing.

Elsweyr's climate isn't as... I dunno, varied as those of Cyrodiil or Skyrim. Both of those have lush forests, snowy mountains, oceans, swamps, and open fields. Elsweyr's just jungles and desert. Setting is key in an RPG. That rhymed.
Deserts and Jungles...
That actually sounds very appealing to me.

I never said he was a druggy and he ain't a druggy. So how would I know?
If your just going to be a jackass then don't bother to come here to this topic.
Didnt say he was.
It just angers me when people say things like, "He was a great person, he lived a great religious life..." ect. When it doesnt mean anything. The only thing that matters when a man dies is how he died.
All I was saying is that if he died in a different way, you wouldnt feel bad.

Lets say a man lives a great life, gives to charity, does volunteer work, ect, but then Dies...
If the man dies from Cancer, people are sad, its a scary sickness.
If the man dies in the army, people say he gave his life for his country.
If the man dies in a car accident, Its tragic.
If the man gets killed in a fight, people say "Meh, he was a trouble maker"
If the man dies from a drug overdose, people dont care. Another druggy gone.
If the man dies from alcohol poisoning, people dont care. Another alcoholic gone...

I guess I dont see how this is relevant to what happened, it just sprang upon my brain.

Maybe so but this was her husband were talking bout. A working man and a preacher giving the good word to the towns folk. Now if your a atheist (not just you but to everyone) don't get all like "OMG U BLEVE IN GOD U R STEWPID" its how I was brought up and I have reason to believe.
I was riding along and I seen the cemetery so I decided to visit. She happened to follow in behind. Problem?
Eh, I am an Atheist, and thats not why I dont really feel sad. Im just wondering why you feel sad that a pastor died.... 3 years ago. If he was a druggy, would you still feel bad?

Hey, I want one!
I think everybody does.
These are surprisingly good quality.

No matter how frequently it would happen, the death of a close individual is always just as painful.
Never said it wasnt.
Why were you riding to a cemetery anyhow?

4467
It was sad, have you no heart for a working man?
My great-grandfather was killed in a car accident on the way home from giving a sermon at his church.
My uncle-in-law died as an construction worker while building a highrise.

I dont see whats sad about your story, working men die everyday.
