Also I feel really guilty when a pokemon in my party faints
wow. i didn't realize this kind of behavior was so widespread and i feel a bit better knowing so
whenever i do a melee attack i usually try to swing the camera in the appropriate direction so that my character is turning his weapon, so the attack "looks" like it would in real life

whenever I'm alone in an fps i will shoot once, then reload my gun periodically just to make background noise: otherwise I pay too much attention to the world and flip the forget out when something shows up (and usually IMMEDIATELY shoot it regardless of affiliation)

like are you using that script by computermix? you shoulda been banned.
like regardless of how stuff the server is that doesn't give you the right to just stomp in and ruin everyone's day, even if you don't approve of how the server itself runs

How about a blockland gameshow?
Like, you have these contestants and they try to answer this blockland-related or anything trivia. The faster you answer, the more money you get, but, if you get the wrong answer, you lose the imaginary money. The person with the most money wins.

maybe a japanese-type gameshow, where everything is crazy and over-the-top and there's bullstuff abound and everyone competes against equally unfair odds in weird-ass minigames

i'm still moving parts around until i get what i'm intending to do so the whole 'trial and error but with mindless deaths involved' thing should be sorted out quickly
what i'm going for is explicitly an 'unfair' platformer (as in, it follows unfair platformer tropes) but instead of focusing on just being a richard to you constantly it's supposed to play upon what you already expect from unfair platformers and then take those parts and turn it into what amounts to a fair platformer, with a bunch of parts not visible from the get-go
i guess it's an "invisible" platformer
what i'm trying to do is figure out how to make genre savvy players' expectations actually work for them, but not exactly in the way they'd expect
so for instance if somewhere seems suspicious, it will be suspicious every time but the trick is being observant enough to notice these spots even with whatever twists i might add (cause they'll still follow the same basic pattern)
i'll poke around with the camera a bit, too

they're a useful catch-all for any conversation that doesn't warrant it's own topic and isn't the main topic of the forum, so if i want to participate in the conversation i can just go to the megathread instead of clogging up the board with a bunch of topics nobody wants to talk about
but yeah people are going out of their way to start them for the sake of starting them
like that guy in gallery who made the video megathread
