the pistol doesn't NEED a forgetton of ammo. it's probably the one weapon in tier 1 that you can use super-reliably, because it raycasts

it doesn't even soak up that many rounds per mag: you could fit 2 of them in an smg magazine and still have some to spare

To the complainers- Afganistan is a fantastic map. Just because it's default doesnt mean it's not a great testbed.

afghan dm has been done to death.

it's not fun purely because it's been done SO MANY TIMES with SO MANY MINOR VARIATIONS that we have almost literally squeezed every single ounce of fun it could muster out of it's poor, overused form

also, the pistol not having unlimited ammo sort of ruins the L4D2 tier system, too. there are a lot of deviations from the original design, in case you haven't noticed



also: did someone stuff in your salad, or what? we weren't being serious.

when you act for other people: like, instead of just controlling your 'character', you control him, the guy next to him, someone a street away, a dog in a park, and a dolphin the next town over

basically 'playing god' instead of 'playing people'

I like teamwork based gamemodes alot. It's like what's scarier, one bee, or 30 bee's?

to be fair, a 30:1 bee-to-rocket ratio is way better then a 1:1

if what you're hosting is essentially an elaborate way to say "LOOK AT THE THINGS I MADE" and is designed to highlight your stuff instead of your stuff being used to highlight the best parts of your deathmatch you are doing it wrong

it's really, really, REALLY a sidearm

the pistol is versatile as all hell but is out-and-out overcome by any primary weapon
so it's best used for picking off enemies you've already damaged (or can't damage in the first place) with your primary

the magnum is very similar in versatility but it sacrifices just a little for sheer viscerality and awesomeness factors
(also, it 2-hit kills on headshots.)
