if anyone's wondering about what the game is actually about rather then

being trolled by tony

long story short a particularly little pony named Apple Bloom goes with her hilariously overpowered (but weak against grass) resident librarian Twilight Sparkle to visit a third pony (who is actually a zebra) who lives in the pony equivalent of the loving minus world

but then again this is FiM, so the standards between 'pony creepy' and 'human creepy' aren't really all that different

anyway, AB's schtick, along with her friends who do not appear in this game, is that she hasn't found her purpose in life yet (which will be tattooed onto her ass for all to see by magic). being a blank flank (IE: not having an ass-tattoo) is sort of embarrassing at her age and most ponies do, in fact, have ass-tattoos (which are actually called Cutie Marks)

anyway so AB goes into the forest for a little bit- and if you're a paranoid forget like me, you come dangerously close to stuffting yourself- and she comes across the pony equivalent of a stepford suburbia

and then some stuff happens

there's only so many things you can do with melee

ranged weapons are much more varied and there are more places for the upgrade tree to split, leading to more varied gameplay

if i had to guess some random guy making a comprehensive list of every fault, nitpick and personal problem he can find and throwing them all into one big pile for all to see

and then apparently calling the creator non-creative



i can understand a simple statement about how one specific bug or a few bugs are REALLY getting in the way of gameplay and are beginning to ruin the experience, like guns exploding in your hands or something for no reason at all, but if you're gonna cry about stuff like weird shell ejection angles then i have no sympathy from you

at the ranges T+T is designed for the only difference between raycasting and normal projectiles is that you have to lead projectiles to some extent

raycasting balances itself by forcing a player to STOP leading, which is actually pretty jarring if you've been using normal projectiles up until that point

also i'm not sure if you guys have caught on yet but i'm pretty sure stuntman's just stirring up stuff for the sake of stirring up stuff now

and due to it being hitscan, that's barely a catch since it's not that challenging to hit someone with a non projectile-based weapon

sniper rifles also fire tracer rounds which do exactly enough damage to kill at any range

the tracer rounds are projectiles and can be dodged

You are also not factoring that all the Hitscan weapons will STILL probably miss (Unless you're actually aiming and all that) due to one other factor- ALL T+T weps variate aim while the player is moving. Noone's gonna be racking up the kills by taking the Retro Sniper and constantly running around the map.

yes you will

the sniper rifle's only real catch is the fact that, if you forget up your first shot, you are nearly guaranteed to die because almost everything else can kill you in the time it takes to cycle the bolt

there's also the issue of ammo capacity, which can screw you over MORE if you're not good with managing rounds
