It's how I installed windows 7. It has the serial number on the back...It's the actual windows 7 upgrade disc.

There's your issue.
You need a copy of Windows that can completely re-install the entire OS

Well that was my issue.
You have to re-install Windows, so if you don't have a disk to do that with, you're forgeted.

I have those disks that they send you when you buy an OS like vista before 7 comes out. Those ones they send you for free. So yeah I have a disk just in case.

I've had upgrade parts for my computer for almost a year now. I want to stop procrastinating and put them in but I want a new cpu too. I have the AMD phenom x4 (quad core) processor but only with 1.80 Ghz operating frequency. I was wondering if I could just upgrade my cpu to the AMD Phenom II X4 3.4 Ghz. How can I tell what motherboard I have, as this PC was prebuilt. If it's the same socket type this can work right?

Lol make sure you do great researching before purchasing a CPU, as I did not and learned my lesson the hard way ;)

Try looking up on your manufacturers website the model number you have and see if they provide specs for it.
And about the sockets, no, that's what I thought.

You're going to need a PSU that can support the CPU and whatever other parts you have, you're also going to need the motherboard to support the CPU's 125 watt power instead of what mine was, 95.

Then you have to make sure the sockets are correct

It is the same socket type, so it will fit in the motherboard. The issue is your motherboard most likely doesn't support CPU wattage high enough for a Phenom II.

I did not generalize christians. When I said "I don't care if you're a christian" it's obvious that I referred to christians who use the bible as their excuse to randomly assault gays. I, in no way, meant to say that all christians are gay-haters or anything like that.

Before you start being a sarcastic friend, why not realize I didn't say "They need to change" or "Something needs to be done", all I said was "I wish", and that's not even about being people on the internet.

It's about the entire population in the world, haha, a lot of people would generalize all Christians by the few they see.
