Hastily-created gasoline canister. I'm worried that my art style won't stay consistent.
It is fantastic. It embodies the full flavor of a chocolate bar made out of children.

Sorry if video aren't okay, but it's stop motion, so it's basically a whole bunch of screenshot poses(600+ screenshots).
It's just a little Gmod video about Game Grumps. I enjoyed making it, so I hope you guys might as well. :)

It's funny because it's the only one of it's kind in the video that has wings and normal looking eyes

Apparently it's head it wider than it's body

This creature has some strange anatomy...
The bane of hand-drawn style animations is that, although a character is meant to look the same in every frame, it's always a little different. It basically boils down to summing up your image of the character and basing the model on that as much as possible. I think you're doing a great job as it is right now. :)

Games / Atonement Chronicles : Fall of Nations
« on: October 06, 2012, 06:40:30 PM »

Atonement Chronicles: Fall of Nations is the story of the most evil conqueror known to the world of Xenoeth, how he was betrayed by his three most trusted friends, cast into the underworld, and then returned to the living so he could exact his revenge. You play this evil man as he climbs his way back to power and destroys his betrayers and everything they hold dear.

The focus of the game is on hack and slash combat, expansive levels and a rich and engaging story. It boasts a random item generator that can create over 1 million variations per item, and a detailed crafting system that adds another layer of depth to the game's loot.

I have personally been working on this game for a little over three months now. I've been making models and textures from scratch, and animating some that other team members have made.
A few examples:
Buckler
Bow
Spider Animation

The whole team is interested in getting the word out, because, like many others, we like games. To make our own game is a dream come true, and we're all glad to be working on it. The only thing we don't have is a budget or a sizable audience. I wanted to share this here because I think it may interest others to know about it, and having more people to provide input and interest would be awesome.

We have made a few teaser trailers and a Kickstarter page so we can build up a budget for further development.

The budget may seem large, but paying for work and advertisements is actually quite steep. Kickstarter also promotes interaction between the development team and the people who are interested in the game. Getting feedback is pretty important.

We're still in very early development, but if you have any questions or feedback, let me know.

Aww, thanks bro. :)
I've used Milkshape for a really long time now, so I know most, if not all of its visual quirks. If you need anymore help you can message me.

Okay, well if that doesn't work, select the whole model, go to the groups tabs, press Ctrl + Shift + W, and if Auto Smooth is on, uncheck it. If Auto Smooth is off, turn it on. Then press Ctrl + W. Sometimes it doesn't register unless you change the smoothing. It should work either way.

If that is the textured view, or even the shaded view, it's probably just shading. Select everything (or press Ctrl + A), press Ctrl + Shift + W, then press Ctrl + W. That un-welds, then re-welds the vertexs, and pretty much re-generates new shading, if you want to think of it like that.

I'll be making videos of modeling pretty frequently now. This time, I made a buckler. :)
I'm not going to be making anything for Blockland, though... not unless I get a lot of free time in the near future.

Doing modeling again. I tried making a bow as quickly as I could without rushing or ruining it.

I did some after-video fixing with shading and such, but it's still the same shape.

I also made a quick video.

Hey Azerath, welcome back.
Oh, I'm always here. I just hardly ever post. :)

I only played this for a couple minutes, but I do like the atmosphere that it has. It could use a little bit more fog, I would say. The darkness that it has looks like it doesn't fade toward the player fast enough, if you know what I mean by that.
It's plainly obvious where the player is meant to go which is nice, at least in the beginning. It suggests good level design.
Once the actual scare came out, I didn't really go much further. Really, after the initial scare, I lost interest. It was kind of a joke, to be honest. I don't mean that to be rude, by the way.
The thing about the monster here is that it isn't really mysterious or scary enough to be worth it. In something like Slendy, you are curious about Slender Man and it makes you want to keep playing a little bit. Maybe you'll find something out about him in the end. In this, once I saw it, I was like, "Really? So much for that." It DID scare me when it jumped up in my face and threw a loud sound at my ears, but when I saw it come out of nowhere just slowly floating, it worried me, but then it was just funny to look at.

All in all, I think you have a pretty good approach going, but I would make the scare a little... scarier. It helps to have a story to base it on.
It could all be a joke, but I still just want to my feedback.

Made this set when I was working on a game. I just can't seem to make any good ones anymore. :/
